This doesn't have proper computer labs the labs have even first generation processing computers even they don't care when it's lab exam and computers so slow no good WiFi facility here the main Moto is to get good marks and that's it you done with engineering?

B.sc Computer science studying at bishop heber college trichy ,generally in my higher secondary school i had studied computer science so i choose the computer science group in college .teaching methods are very good. yes my college is updated by latest curriculum.

College has good infrastructure, facilities with digital learning provided in there respective class rooms. College provides all the laboratory requirements. College has library which provides all the required book for every academic year student.College do provide DIgital library too.Coming to the sports which includes basketball, football, cricket etc and indoor stadium too. College provides Wi-Fi too. As I am a hostler the hostel feclities are good.
Academics
I am perceiving B-tech(EEE)2nd year. Most of the faculty which I had experienced are good at concept. College does updates in curriculum and includes all updates with out any inconvenience. I don't fell that what we study makes job-ready. The more we research the more we acquire skills and this makes you to get ready for it. The faculty is good and engages with the students.
Placements
College do includes campus placement training sessions which make students to get ready for Campus drives(placements). The quality of placements are average and the average packages varies from 4-4.5 lakes per annum.The best package was 14lakhs per annum.Some companies do have their basic exam for the recruitment of students.College do supports campus placements.
Campus Life
Campus has toll Trees and greenery all around. The college support students by having CLUBS like(NCC, NSS, Sports, Photography etc.). Campus do has canteen where you can get good refreshments. Campus do have xerox shop where you can buy basic study requirements. College is also concerned about women safety. College do provides medicine facility and college do have ambulance if any emergency.

IIEST provides with all the necessary infrastructure. The classrooms and labs are clean, well light, and well equipped. Our library holds a huge collection of 12000+ books and dissertation papers. The campus hosts four fully functional canteens along with a CCD and a Nescafe outlet. We also have a dedicated sports centre. The hostels are decent but some of them require renovation which we are working on. Overall, IIEST provides you a good infrastructure that ensures a great learning experience.
Academics
I'm a student in the civil engineering department, but I also have friends in every other department on campus. Most of our teachers are extremely qualified and passionate about education, barring a few. They make you love the subject rather than cram needlessly. IIEST treats education as a priority and provides great exposure to a variety of projects. However the curriculum is outdated and has little relevance in the industry. Hopefully that'll change soon.
Placements
The placements have been good so far on campus. Our highest package for 2019 was 40 LPA, offered by Microsoft to three of our students, 2 of them from our Computer science and 1 of them from our IT department respectively. The average package for core branches has been around 6-7 LPA, and non-core has been around 10-12 LPA. We have an active placement cell that ensures great participation from the industry in every placement season.
Campus Life
We have an extremely vibrant campus life. We have a wide array of clubs for you to choose from, be it dancing, dramatics, writing or singing. You'll also have the opportunity to participate in a multitude of competitions and other events organised by these clubs. The campus is extremely safe with a dedicated hospital that caters to students 24*7 with a doctor always on call. The campus is located very close to the Hooghly river and is serene filled with greenery.

The highest package is offered Rs.13.5lac and the lowest is Rs.3.2 lack. Only 50% of the seniors are placed till now. Many of the big companies like ITC express, airtel, cadila pharmaceutical came into the campus for SIP and placement.

I am a student of btech it engineering ,I see my career in hands of coding that's why opted this course. Curriculum is more like reason or source of depression among students, nothing makes me job ready as they are preparing us for completely nothing

Our College has best infrastructure and other facilities and equipment that a college need but it feels very untidy from outside and needs to be renovated from outside.Classroom are not that spacious as they need to be. Moreover canteen doesn't provide that much variety of food.

I am pursuing BBA final year quality of teaching is quite good here but teacher don't interact that much and at some point i think that our college curriculum needs to be changed . I also think that this course makes me job oriented.

My college have a good record for placements, and the graphs of placements are always increasing every year.Hope it will continue the same in future. In BBA there record is quite good and the average salary company provide is quite amazing then usual.

I can't say that is best or worst it is good. Student can engage themselves by joining different club and do different activities of your choice. Location Is quite disappointing in my terms as it is very far from the metro station and i have to spend lot on travelling.

There are several canteens to provide us with quick snacks during lectures and good meals at lunch time.

I am pursuing B.tech in CSE because I have a way with computers since my early days, I have been introduced with computers when I was 8 and from then I kept that enthusiasm. Yes in NIET the syllabus is as per the guidelines of aktu which will help you strengthen the basics of some core concepts of CS like Algorithms, DS, Programmings, etc . Apart from these college gives us training from Experienced industrialist to make us job ready.

The major thing about NIET is Placements, yes almost every CSE student gets placed in the final year of their Graduation. 99% placement is at NIET . As per my knowledge the highest package from CSE was 9.5 lakh with $2500 stock option at PegaSystems . Average salary of NIET is 3.6 LPA , well at placement times there is lots of pressure but enjoyment and excitement as well and during the complete placement process the college is very very supportive that's why it has 99% placement.
Campus Life
NIET has 2 campus one for 1st year students and second for rest of the year students to prevent ragging. Which is very good initiative. The college has a lots of events and regarding those events it has place as well there are several communities to join to connect throughout the nation and many more. Teachers are good at what they are teaching and have a good degree to claim that lol! Yes location is safe there are several other colleges and can handle emergencies.

The college is nearly completely with all facilities. Infrastructure is not so cool means not so higher of level it just better like other government buildings. And talking about the equipments or tools , there are but I think they are not so enough. Classroom comes with Project for presentation and many more and also basic facilities are available. This I'm talking about Mechanical branch and over of 1st year , All teacher teaches properly. But for first year If I'm from mechanical branch for 1st year all subjects are mandatory teachers of other subject nearly teaches basic not more than that. So this kind of thing matters.

Placement is not so good for this last years but college trying their level best. Nearly upto 3 lake was 'average' salary package offered. But college always support to all students for everything. All teachers are best.

Everyone wants good campus and it is the one of them. All campus surrounded with wifi facility, At every section water filters are available. Lot of competition, programs events , projects comes to students and it makes all engage and active.

Central air conditioning and heating system, projector in excellent conditions, white boards, foldable chairs and tables in very good condition. we have newly constructed and we'll planned classes, well equipped library and laboratories. The hostel is also has Central air conditioning and heating with a mess.

Staff is well qualified with PHd and doctorate degrees, they also have a lot of practical and current knowledge. Not only do they teach very well but also are always willing to help with our doubts . They are helpful not only with academics but career advice too.

The college is famous for it's placements with an average of 7 lakhs pa. It is placement destination to companies like the big 3, big 4 and others. The highest package goes about 16 lakhs pa. The placement cell is very active and efficient

There is no placement for mechanical branch only IT companies come and those who are intersted can go to these companies no placement for for my branch. One of the bad thing but gate classes are free here you can go for it.

Campus life is good and it's safe. We have a basketball ground along with Volleyball and badminton playground. There is also a gym in the ground where you can go and the machines are also present you can go and work out there

A unique infrastructure, the campus is dived into 3 parts one is VSIT another is diploma college that is VP and for engineering colleges it's VIT. The college have all the necessary facilities from canteen to the topmost technology equipment and all the licence software. The classrooms, canteen, faculty room, washroom, playing zone and labs are well maintain and all the classrooms have the centralised working AC. The food is hygienic but slightly costlier.

The quality of teaching is very well, we are provided with the classroom lecture note the e notes and also with the additional professor notes and question bank. And also extra tutorial are conducted for below average students and also to the students who need the tutorial

At present the placement activities are quite good but not an 100% placement happened although the college is supportive and conduct all the placement talks like pre placement talk and aptitude practice class and also the core programming language are get brushed up before the placement activities.
