B. Tech. in Aerospace Engineering is a four year professional undergraduate program offered by Amrita School of Engineering. Aerospace engineering deals with the design, construction, and study of the science behind the forces and physical properties of aircraft, rockets, flying craft, and spacecraft. The prescribed courses of study and syllabi cover areas like, design, structures, propulsion, aerodynamics, and systems. The laboratories and workshops, detailed in the curriculum, have been framed to take up the challenges in Industry and focus themselves on research and development. The student has access to the latest versions of many analysis and design packages. Tie-ups with the pioneering institutions like National Aerospace Laboratories (NAL), Indian Space Research Organizations (ISRO) etc., have served as eye-openers on the complexities of real life problems, both for the students and faculty members.

Eligibility Criteria

A pass in 10 + 2 (Class XII) or its equivalent examination with minimum 60% aggregate of marks in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry and with not less than 55% individually in each of these three subjects.

Admission Details

Admissions to B.tech programs in Amrita are based on ranks secured in either Amrita Entrance Exam (AEEE) or JEE Mains.
70% of the seat allotment will be through AEEE and 30% through JEE Mains.

College Infrastructure

Amrita school of engineering college has all the necessary infrastructure and good facilities like smart class, good teacher student interaction, good library and lab facilities. The facilities in details are good smart class with well set projectors, A well distinguished librarian with good a library, has a lot of books to select based on the particular interest of students. There's a good support of sports and hostels with Wi-Fi network. The college maintenance is really good and clean.

College Infrastructure

College really has a very good infrastructure in Chinese style and full of trees and green campus. College has best labs with all updated equipments and knowledged faculty.college has a Olympic style swimming pool and good sports courts and track. Living spaces and food is worth for money spent. For aerospace there are good lab facilities like simulator and aircraft models etc..
