National Institute of Technology Raipur has two main buildings housing the different departments. One is devoted for engineering courses while the other whole is for architecture department. Classrooms are spacious with some equipped with ACs. Institute has central library with a reading room for students. Sports centre is located near football ground and basketball court. Hostels are available for both boys and girls. There is a utility store and snack stores besides a beautiful canteen.

I am a student of B.Tech. in mining engineering. Faculties here, are well experienced in their teaching expertise. Faculties do not incline towards any particular section of class. Course curriculum is updated often by the opinion of professors and board of directors. Each semester comprises of two class tests and an end-sem examination.

Placements tend to only improve in the recent years. 70% of the students get placed in on-campus placements including core as well as non-core offers. Highest package is offered is 32 lacs to the students from CSE and IT department. Average salary is offered in the range of 5-6 lacs. Training and Placement Cell assist the students in their placements and internships as well.

There are two gardens at the institute. Various clubs and committees are there like robotics club, entrepreneurship cell, cultural committee,dance club, drama club, innovation cell and more. Yes, our college have all necessary infrastructure. the equipment is very good and the labs very well equipped. we have very high-speed wifi and hostels are very safe. all the living places are clean and maintenance is very good. the food and the canteen provides very hygienic food.

I am studying my bachelor's at ece department in the presidency. the teaching is very good and the faculty were always interactive with students. this study will make us job-ready and it all depends on our interest and attendance focus toward the classes. The college includes all the developments in their corresponding department.

the placements at the presidency are very good and many MNCs will be visiting our campus every year. 60 to 70 % of students will get placed on our campus. the highest package will go around 20lpa and the average will be 4 lpa. the placement process entirely depends on the visited company and its recruitment process. It is not much easy and it all depends on ou talent.

I am Currently pursuing B.tech in CSE with Specialization in Information Technology. The quality of teaching is not upto the mark as i thought off. The curriculum is bit old and follows some older pattern. Some of the subjects are taught in an old fashioned way. But the truth is they make you job ready.

The quality of placement is very good as compared to other colleges. SRM holds a 100% placement record. The average placement went 5.5 lakhs this year with highest ctc of 41 lakhs. There are more number of on-campus placement as compared to off-campus placement.

They insist us to update through our Own try ! So at that place , the question raised in our mind is that "Then why am I paying the fees ? ". This is the drawback in the side of curriculum . I study Instrumentation and that has its own scope !

The Placement Cell and the departments taking many initiatives for the students placement ! Average Salary offered will around 2- 2.5 LPA and Top Salary will depend upon the company . Since you cant really become a doctor with just a mbbs degree there is no placement . The student needs to do their MD and the college does prepare the students for that. The MBBS programme although includes internship which we can do with the college hospital or elsewhere.

PSIT has all the necessary infrastructure and facilities to promote a happy and healthier environment. Classrooms are full ac packed and so do library. But we not have any sport centre. Although we have all the sports facilities but it still lacks a cricket playground as many times students have complaint administrator about it. In hostels we are provided with LAN with 500mb limits per student on daily basis. But it also get increases up to 2gb on holidays. Living space is well cleaned.

I am studying b.tech in Computer Science as I was always interested in programming. Quality of teaching is best according to me. Teachers are well qualified and they give quality teaching. No I seriously do not think curriculum is updated and which is not fully capable to make us job ready. But PSIT follows AICTE curriculum so according to that it is latest. Curriculum clearly does not include recent developments in the particular field.
Placements
Since PSIT is a private college and so like all other private colleges. It do has it's own placement issues. Candidates are only prepared to get placement in any particular company mostly under Infosys and they always set a goal to break the record of number of students placed in Infosys every year. Since Infosys is a service based company and hence it does not offer a descent salary. 90 percent students were placed last year. Highest package offered was 26 lack INR. Average package is 2,50,000

Best thing about college campus is its security and its anti ragging squad. 1st year students are kept separated from 2nd and 3rd year. So there is no ragging in 1st year. Worst thing about college campus is if someone is suffering from some kind of illness he cannot stay in hostel. He will have to leave the hostel during classes. Students can engage in dances sports. Teachers here are the best. Students are of various kind some are here to study and some are here to waste their parents money.

Very good infrastructure, the campus placed at the foots of western ghate and during winter is the best time one could spend time alone or with friends walking along the way of Georgia, The place where I spend most of my time. During summers it's a bit hard to survive but worth it to spend.
