Psg institute of technology and applied research is affiliated to anna university that seems a little drawback. But the standard of teaching is wonderful and helps us more to understand in a practical way. Students are allowed to access laboratories any time they wish and discipline here is highly monitored (like coming to classes in time , academic performances etc.) Moreover students are given lots of free platform to explore and expose them to the world. There are lot of clubs encouraged here

Being a biotechnology student and pursuing b.tech, placements are not actually a good option as companies require a higher degree for hiring. Thus, even though we are offered placements, higher studies are seen as the best option by us students.

After the hectic day of attending classes and focusing on assignments, the best place to go is for a walk around the campus, whit chatting with friends over a cup if coffee. Also, in the evening I go for a swim, and get all my stress soaked out with a deep dive in it.

I have taken a course of mechanical engineering, since mechanical department has been on PSG since 1939. My career is well set if it is in PSG. The tutors are very much updated and talented, and helps students with all their needs, inspires them, motivates them and brings out their full potential. The curriculum is up to date and its very practical.

Compared to other colleges, the placement preparation here is very good. They make us job-ready in every step. We have aptitute classes, GATE training and we also have weekly mock interviews to prepare us for the job interviews. And this is very useful to find our flaws and rectify it before we face the interviews. This makea us more confident to face our placements.

The campus life here is peaceful, unlike many other colleges it is not crowded and the buildings are easily accessable. Students participate in symposiums, culturals, and many other college clubs. These are encouraged by our tutors. The location is very safe and there are many hospitals nearby in case of emergencies
