I had best exposure of the time in Lab and Sports. Food and living spaces are so neat and clean.Gardeners are the second group of people other than professors to be sincere in this campus. The infrastructure was the best of its time.

I was doing my MTech in Hydrology. I feel it was the best I got. My professor used to give a space after any equal sign before putting the equation. Than he puts the plus or minus sign with proper clarification. They are so sincere that they even request us to allow them to take some extra time for clarification. No overburden no homework. All classwork only..

I was a government sponsored candidate. Almost all of the students studying with us were properly placed. I don't remember the salary of that time as I was an government sponsored candidate. But I remember we were having parties every week on their recruitments.

Very cool but exciting. I have never seen or came across any strike or any agitation during my stay from 1994 to 1996. Night campus life was marvelous of that time. Any time was party time for us.

The infrastructure of AIEM & our department is adequate in my point of view. Classrooms are spacious, the labs have all the necessary instruments for performing the experiment. Total campus is wi-fi enabled, also a separate CS lab is there for surfing the internet. We can access national and international journal in our library.

In our college academic section is very much encourages and helpful. The faculty of our department are like our friend, philosopher and guide. We can get help from them in all the situation. Most of the faculty members are either doctorate or masters in their domain. Class note, ppt presentation is provided to us in a regular manner along with text books note. In a semester 04 times assessment we have to face, either by assignment or class test or in quiz mode.

In one word, the placement section of AIEM is too good and beyond my expectation level. In my department, almost 75% students are placed in different sectors like IT, TELECOM, NETWORKING, MARKETING, core sector related to the jobs. In our course, highest package offered was 7 lakh/annum, the avg package offered was 3 lakh around. MINDTREE, CAPGEMINI, AMAZON, TCS, NINZA, WIPRO, RS SOFTWARE, INSPIRA, MARUTI SUZUKI, BYZU'S are the major companies came for our placement.

Yes placement process was moreover easy but we need to understand the key concepts clearly then it is pleasant and college will provide necessary training for students.

The college is in the outskirts of Chennai, hence, travelling to places within the city becomes tough. However, life on campus is simply put, an incredible experience. There are over 80 clubs to be a part of on campus, ranging from literature and movies to robotics and automation, clubs are an integral part of campus life. The sports amenities are wonderful and our cricket team is a jewel. The campus fest, Vibrance, is looked forward to the entire year. Restaurants like Domino's too are there!
