College Infrastructure
The university building is new and it is very pretty from inside and outside both. The classrooms and lecture halls are very much nicely maintained and you have lift as well for the upper floors and it is very beautiful.
Academics
The academics there is very nice and renowned in the city and in the state as well. They have many new courses also for a better diversity and students here are very good at academics and teachers are also very nice.
Placements
As far as the placements is concerned the placements here are not that much up to the point if compared with the university academics and all as it has got a maximum of 5 Lakhs per annum only which is very less

The infrastructure of the college is a mid way which means not so good not so bad but it's not that much bad like one can conduct proper classes but only upto a limit of students can be allowed so sometimes it creates a hustle

The academics is not that good because people have approaches and during the time of examinations the students who are well prepared are competed with those who have approaches so it is a negative point

Vaish college is very bad at placements where a bachelor of science or any other background student is not getting paid what is expected and companies are not even interested in this college and as in the students

In total 9 hostels which are called as bhawans . A sports centre called as SAC , student activity centre .Good playground for cricket and football, a badminton court, a basketball ball and a throw ball court. We have a well maintained library called central library fully air conditioned . Classrooms are not that good you will feel like the same as in Schools . We have not that good laboratories. Some labs are good like chemistry but other labs are under construction.

I am studying chemical engineering because in my rank In jee i am getting this at best . Quality of teaching is very good . We have well educated professors from well respected institutes throughout the India. Yes curriculum is updated and includes the recent developments in the field . Yes this course make us job ready.
Placements
Placements in chemical engineering are at top level in this NIT. Above 90 % students are placed . Highest package offered was 40 LPA and it go to CSE. The average salary offered in my branch that is chemical engineering is 9 lpa in previous year and in current year it is like 12 lpa .Yes college is supportive in terms of placement.
Campus Life
College campus is good. Best feature is it is surat the chemical hub of Gujarat and the worst feature is that the nearby area is very rich due to which survival with minimal pocket money is difficult. Students, teachers and staff support is good . Yes it is safe as it is in Gujarat. A dry state . Yes it can handle emergency.

Our college has state of the art laboratories, classrooms, lecture halls, auditoriums. Classrooms are air conditioned and very spacious with projectors and smart board. Academic building also has a great architecture

We have a very strict academic system in BIT Mesra. Course structure is pretty outdated as compared to the industry right now. The academics are not enough for placements for that students need to learn skills by themselves

Placements are pretty outstanding for all branches and over the top for CSE and ECE. Companies like Microsoft, Atlassian, TATA Steel, Reliance petro visit every year. Overall avg package is 13.5 LPA and avg for CSE is 22LPA

Campus life here is good but our campus is open so there are many restrictions like girls can't go out of hostels after 9pm. Canteens close at 10pm, campus is very lush green and enjoyable it is spread over 780 acres

Though the college i study at is offering odl ( online distance learning). I don't know much about the social amenities and services offered to the native or resident students but they provide soft copy of the materials which is really helpful

I have to be honest about this they provides study material for free but you cannot be sure that the study material is actually going to help you gain good marks as the study material is mainly not enough.

They provided lot of internship and other opportunities as Indira Gandhi National open University is a well known University and its certificate is also valid outside India so one of my colleagues also studied from the same University and she has the highest package in the company and currently working at.
Campus Life
As a said before I am studying through open distance learning mode so I am not quite sure about the campus life but the study centres are really helpful from assignment submission to getting information about the next course of action they really helpful.

We have smart classes , laboratories are well equipped, library is good you can find almost every book related to our course and outside of course too. Sports are very good . Food is very hygienic in canteen.

I am studying MSc Biotechnology as i have a good urge in research and development. No you have to study more , and have to keep a good practical knowledge to be ready for job . Quality of teaching is good but really you have to self study otherwise you will not succeed in any exam .
Placements
Placements are not so good . Only a few companies hire , and may be they are too not related to Biotechnology. You have to apply off campus most probably. Everything is good except placement which is very disappointing for a biotech student here.

There are fests in campus , sports activities, different functions happened every now and while. Teachers are good , staffs are good and helpful. Location is safe , transportation facility is good near campus .

Mgit gives very good placements , the highest in our college 64 lpa which is one of the highest packages from our state, almost every student who is part of college without any backlogs remaining gets a placement for sure. The average package is 5-6 lpa.
