MBA in finance is what I am studying over here. The teachers are qualified but lazy enough to teach properly. You can only get the enough knowlege if you are self-motivated and have urge learn by yourself. The course structure is outdated and not par with other B schoools.

Very Bad experience in terms of Placement. Though i am doing masters in finance but the companies that offer job are mostly in sales. Irrespective of the fact we are doing masters, the hiring companies comes for graduates and undergraduates collectively and hire collectively. So, here is no difference between the graduates and post graduates degree.

Campus is very beautiful and green. It is the biggest in the city and easily approachable in terms of commutation. You can enjoy the campus evening life and chill. There are various co-cirricular activities like swimmimg classes, gym etc which can be assessed by university students.

Op jindal university has best infrastructure Including classes playground, hostels everything. We have separate library and it's absolutely beautiful. Sports, festival they celebrate each and everything with so much love. Also about hygiene wheather it's about good or rooms everything is neat and clean.

I'm a HR students, and yes I have the best faculties in op jindal university, most of them phd holders andwith absolute knowledge. Curriculum changes according to new development and it's has the best study material.

Placement are here best, they bought each and every best company in college for students although it's an engineering college but we management as well as science students still get the good opportunity for placement.

The campus is very beautiful surrounded by himalayas, has a air conditioning library with wifi, canteen, auditorium, and an amphiteature also. I don't about other departments but in geography they do have geographical equipments and laboratories. They have big conference room in the department for conducting events. Regular cleaning is also done in the department.

Though it has great building, but no regular classes are being taken atleast in geography department. The department only has 3 professors and rest are scholars and some guest faculty. Though there is one good point that a lot of scholars are study oriented so get to learn a lot form them. This department is very much research oriented so if you are interested in reseaech work irrespective of academics, then definitely its a better option for you.

There is no placement cell in the department or overall in the university. Though I guess an NGO did came last year in 2022 with some job opportunities. But again in geography no one till now got into placement jobs, so yes if you are looking for research work and not for immediate job search then definitely do go for this college.

The College IMS(Institute of Management Sciences), lags in terms of infrastructure, as the classrooms are not well equipped with the basic necessities, Such as Fans, Projectors and Generators. One of the best among all NITs in terms of infrastructure for labs, advanced research equipment and other activities like sports, extra curriculars etc. Classrooms are spacious and plenty in number. Library is huge, may be the largest in Odisha. There are a 8 boys hostels and 2 ladies hostels. Have separate mess and food quality is ok. And the environment is clean

Quality of academics is pretty good if not the best. Almost all faculty members are PhDs from reputed institutes both from India and abroad. NIT Rourkela has the highest research output in terms of publications in peer reviewed journals and total number of citations. Academic Curriculum was recently updated to make it for flexible and match industry standards. Biggest negative point is the ultra stringent attendance policy with 85% mandatory attendance in classes.

About placements is overall good.if Only major disadvantage is location. Lack of a functional airport in Rourkela acts as an obstacle for some companies to visit campus. Average CTC approximately 7 LPA in my batch with highest being 42 LPA. And overall every student get placement
