72 MonthsPh.D. programe in Physical Sciences shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned. Homi Bhabha National Institute, Mumbai.
Eligibility Criteria
First-year M.Sc. or equivalent B. Tech (at the completion of 3rd year) students with excellent academic records in Physical/Chemical/Life Sciences/Engineering. The students doing integrated M.Sc. (BS-MS) who have completed at least 3 years. Only those students whose academic interests overlap with the research areas being pursued in SINP will be considered.
