Eligibility Criteria

Age - Not less than 17 years (As of the date of commencement of the course)

Not more than 20 years (As of the date of commencement of the course)
Unmarried
Results of the Class 12th board exam should be obtained at FIRST ATTEMPT and from a Regular Board only

Only those candidates who have appeared for class XII board examinations from a board that is approved by the Ministry of HRD, Govt of India are eligible.

The following marks must be obtained
Minimum Aggregate Percentage - 60%
Minimum PCM aggregate - 60%
Minimum score in Physics & Maths individually - 50%
Minimum aggregate for Physics & Maths - 60%
For Andhra Pradesh & Kerala State boards: 11th & 12th aggregate marks will be considered for the above-mentioned criteria.

Candidates who have appeared for XII examinations with the results yet to be declared are also eligible to appear.
Medical - Physically fit and meet the standards laid out by DG Shipping & ESM / SIMS*
Language - English shall be one of the subjects with minimum marks scored 50% in class X or XII
Eyesight - 6/12 in each eye or 6/9 in the better eye & 6/18 in the other eye. Corrective lenses are permitted. No color-blindness
Passport - The candidate must have a valid passport before joining the course

College Infrastructure

Yes it is world class infrastructure and facilities.We have a ship-in campus,solar powered hostel,open and closed gym,footbal, volleyball,cricket and lawn tennis grounds.We also have a 50m swimming pool and a library open 24/7. All facilities are regularly used and maintained.The food is very hygienic although it may take some time for you to settle in with the food.The rooms are very well lit and furnished accommodating three people each.Every room having their own bathroom attached.
