Pretty low cost and has a community feeling.

    College Infrastructure

I find the campus is functional, but it definitely lacks the modern, large buildings seen elsewhere. The most crucial part for me is the Zoology department, and I think the teaching labs are decently maintained and fully equipped with necessary microscopes. I wish the library had more dedicated digital resources for research. I rely a lot on the central college facilities for general study. I feel the space is adequate for my needs.

    Academics

I feel the depth of the Zoology Honours curriculum is excellent, covering everything from molecular biology to comparative anatomy. My professors are highly knowledgeable in their specific areas and actively encourage me to engage in intellectual discussions. I receive solid, focused guidance on practical examination techniques. I appreciate the rigorous internal assessment system, which keeps me consistently studying and on top of my coursework.

    Placements

I recognize that direct corporate placements are almost non-existent for a fundamental science course like Bachelor of Science in Zoology. I understand that the college is primarily focused on preparing me for further education, like a Master of Science degree or competitive exams. I have to proactively look for research internships outside the college. I know the degree itself is a stepping stone for future academic or civil service career paths.

    Value for Money

I believe the educational quality I receive here for such a low fee structure is truly exceptional. I get dedicated attention from highly qualified professors who are focused purely on teaching and research. The cost of pursuing my Zoology Honours is minimal compared to the deep, fundamental knowledge I am acquiring. I think this college provides one of the best returns on educational investment for me.

    Campus Life

I really enjoy the friendly, localized college environment here. The cultural activities, especially the annual fest, are well-organized and provide me with a great creative outlet. I find my classmates and seniors very supportive, often forming study groups to tackle difficult topics. I appreciate the easy access to nearby public transport, which is convenient for me. I feel the campus environment is warm and welcoming.

Best value for a serious Honours degree.

    College Infrastructure

The college has a functional, older main building situated in a compact area, which generally serves its purpose. I spent most of my time in the Geography laboratory, which was surprisingly well-equipped for our practical work, helping me immensely with cartography and surveying instruments. The central library is a peaceful spot where I could always find necessary textbooks, which is a great academic asset to the campus. However, the total campus area feels quite small, and there is absolutely no provision for a hostel facility for students like me traveling from far away. The quality of the food in the primary canteen during my three years was consistently unappetizing, forcing me to rely on numerous better outside options. I think the overall infrastructure is strictly average and seriously needs modernization beyond just the departmental laboratories.

    Academics

The core strength of the college is the Geography Honours faculty. They are dedicated mentors, not just lecturers, providing intensive support for practicals and thesis work. While the university curriculum is standard, the department makes it dynamic with crucial, mandatory annual field trips. These excursions are vital for gaining real-world skills in mapping and surveying, transforming tough theory into applied, easy practice. Regular assessments keep us prepared, ensuring the program sets a high standard for future post-graduate studies.

    Placements

If I am being completely honest, the placement scenario for core science Honours subjects like Geography was practically non-existent during my three years there. I cannot recall any significant companies specifically visiting the department for recruitment, which was a huge disappointment for me and my classmates.

    Value for Money

This college is an academic steal. The total course fee for the entire Honours degree is remarkably minimal. The financial investment is tiny, but the knowledge and solid university degree gained from committed professors are huge. For maximum return on minimum cost, this option is simply unmatched.

    Campus Life

The campus life aspect was quite subdued, which is perhaps expected from a non-residential institution where most students travel from nearby areas. I never experienced the vibrant, high-energy college life often seen elsewhere, as engagement was mainly limited to classroom interactions and small departmental gatherings. While we did have the annual cultural function and some departmental seminars, there was a general lack of diverse student clubs or societies to join for extracurricular activities. I mostly spent my non-class hours in the quiet library or studying with my small group of close friends.

    College Infrastructure

Sarsuna college doesn't have all the necessary equipments like no smart classes are there, hostels, wifi, but they do have labs, sports centres, libraries. Living spaces are clean but food quality is not so good.

    Academics

Graduated from this college in 2014 and the teaching quality of the teachers are very good and supportive also. Yes all the curriculum is updated and includes the necessary developments in all the fields.

    Placements

There is very less opportunities in placements like there is only average package offered around 2 lpa and my course was b.sc and in this field there is less opportunity for placement but this college is supportive in off campus also.

    Value for Money

    Not likely!

    College Infrastructure

Yes, the college has necessary infrastructure that is needed. The classrooms were clean and well maintained. Canteens are well maintained and all the places are food hygienic. But the college has no hostels .

    Academics

I had studied bcom honours and the teaching quality was very good. Teachers taught us very well and precise. Curriculum was very well updated and the study very well made us job ready. All the teachers are well qualified.

    Placements

As we had persued honours course so there was no such placement. Many of the students in our college opt for higher studies and persued com. And from then on they got some job like CA and some government jobs.

    Value for Money

The course fees is approximately 5k per year when I studied but now it might have increased by some amount. Keeping in mind the quality of education the money is very worth. So you won't get disheartened.

    Campus Life

The teacher support staff are very friendly and helpful to the students. The college campus was neat and clean and the campus life was full of fun. Every year cultural events were organized and all the students enjoyed that very much.
