48 MonthsThe 4 Year B.Tech Programme in Petroleum Engineering is based on integrated study of relevant basic sciences and engineering operational activities in the Oil & Gas industry practices with emphasis in the application of these knowledge base for exploration, drilling, reservoir and production engineering from subsurface petroleum reservoir to surface facilities and beyond.
The major subjects covered in the curriculum of PETROLEUM ENGINEERING are Geoscience, Exploration, Drilling and Well completion, Reservoir Engineering, Operation and Production Engineering, Enhanced Oil Recovery etc. Students in the petroleum engineering program will be taken on a holistic journey of the entire value chain of petroleum exploration and production (E&P) activities.
School of Petroleum Technology, PDEU have semester exchange program in petroleum engineering with University of Oklahoma, USA where students of petroleum engineering can go to the UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA (OU) for one semester and earn credit which will be counted as their academic performance for that semester.

Eligibility Criteria
For Indian Nationals:
A candidate should have secured a rank in Paper – 1 of JEE (Main) - For All India Quota
OR
A candidate should have secured a rank in ACPC through GUJCET - For ACPC Quota
AND
A candidate should have passed the Qualifying Examination with minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC / ST) in aggregate in theory and practical of Physics & Maths (with Chemistry or Biology or Computer or Vocational Subject) from a single board.
For Foreign Nationals:
45% or its equivalent in the qualifying examination i.e. Senior Secondary [10+2] or equivalent with Science Stream (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics), as applicable in the respective boards from any system of education as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as the medium of instruction.

Best academic experience of my life

Well, Pandit Deendayal Energy University (PDEU) has best infrastructure in Gujarat in my sight. Even it ranked 1st in 2016 for infrastructure by NIRF. Campus is large consists of main four building each occupied for different programs. Auditorium is great where all major and minor events are taken place. Apart from it , there are ground for every sport even it has good area for skating. Hostel facilities are plenty enough. PDEU takes great care of plantation. Campus is really huge. Food was good

College Infrastructure
As i think my college provides one of the most developed and maintained campus in my state. All the laboratory and class rooms have AC and smart boards. Even the library have huge amount of books related to our course and other informative magazines.
A fun studying here.

Infrastructure is world class and it has all the necessary laboratories, library and sports centers. In PDPU we have 3 library separated for all the branch student and classrooms are digitally equipped with computer, projector and mikes,and maintenance is also very good and all the time you find campus clean and neat. food quality is better than most of the college and hostels are two sharing and has state of art facilities.
