Information and communications technology (ICT) encompasses communication and information devices and their applications- radio, television, cellular phones, computer and network hardware and software, satellite systems and many other areas. In the B.Tech.(ICT) program the students will also learn about image processing, data communication, networking, data mining, software design and testing. The Program also enables a graduate to focus on application of ICT in variety of fields like business, trade, education, health care, governance, etc.

The Program is being presented in such a way that graduate attributes would encompass professional competence, life skills and community engagement. The course structure is based on Choice Based Credit System (CBCS). A student will have choice to study from the basket of courses related to Information Science, Information Technology, Electronics and Communications, Computer Science and Engineering, ICT Applications in the in various fields, etc.

Eligibility Criteria

For Indian Nationals:

A candidate should have secured a rank in Paper – 1 of JEE (Main) - For All India Quota

A candidate should have secured a rank in ACPC through GUJCET - For ACPC Quota

AND

A candidate should have passed the Qualifying Examination with minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC / ST) in aggregate in theory and practical of Physics & Maths (with Chemistry or Biology or Computer or Vocational Subject) from a single board.

For Foreign Nationals:

45% or its equivalent in the qualifying examination i.e. Senior Secondary [10+2] or equivalent with Science Stream (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics), as applicable in the respective boards from any system of education as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as the medium of instruction.

Admission Details

Merit for B.Tech Admissions at the University is prepared based on JEE (Mains) All India Rank.

Admissions are offered based on merit and availability of seats.

we had a great college infrastructure with a very large campus , a big library with huge options of all nevcessary resources and curriculum based books , air conditioned classrooms with smartboards in class

College Infrastructure

This side of the college premises is very good and developed compared to other blocks of academy, this side of the college offers engineering programs on different domains with good facilities, classes and computer labs

PDPU has wonderful campus life and average academics

College Infrastructure

PDPU has a better campus than most of the colleges in Gujarat. It comprises of AC classroom, equipped Labs, mess, playgrounds and cafeteria. The library is also very good in terms of its infrastructure.
