we had a great college infrastructure with a very large campus , a big library with huge options of all nevcessary resources and curriculum based books , air conditioned classrooms with smartboards in class
overall it have a decent curriculum , given exposure to both practical and theoritical learning , also got few oppurtunities for live projects , had a great learning throughout , faculties were also very helpful
decent placement oopurtunites have came up to students but packages were really less , so most of the students opted out , few joined in but later resigned within few months as organisations were not so great
good college infrastructure with all ammenities availabe , starting from first aid , good mess , playgrounds and sports facility , classrooms were also well furnished with smart boards and air conditioners
curriculum was also decent but also of pressure student later because reluctant to move on with the pressure and kept doing their own , pressure should be considerate till the time students are willing to abide by
average placements were 7 lpa , not much oppurtunities arised in the civil department few got good oppurtunities rest were not so nice to move forward with , people with own connections tried to get one
college is infrastructure is great here footpaths, sports ground with sports like football, lawn tennis and volleyball etc, canteens, cafeteria and medical emergency facilities are available, at one college it is very rare to have all this facilities at same time.
All the faculty has hands on experience and director of the college also takes part in the teaching activity and their are multiple guest session from industry leaders and for better industry experience they provide full second year for internship.
Here placement are very basic and their is no guarantee of placement because their is no placement cell for M.tech department. However in some companies we can take part in the placement process. it is because of the very less strength and our narrow subject.
For knowledge and doing an M.tech degree is very good.
This side of the college premises is very good and developed compared to other blocks of academy, this side of the college offers engineering programs on different domains with good facilities, classes and computer labs
The school of technology offers different types of engineering to students from which one is communication and information technology which teaches students practically in computer labs about information and digitalization
The college tries to provide full rate of placement to students but recently there is observance of fall in placement in different engineering students participating in placement process . Generally mba and mtech can also be the option after this
Socialization is good in premises
PDPU is equipped with each and every tools and machines available in market, which are required for the labs. They have a stunning lush green campus with 3 big libraries for the different schools. They have their own SBI branch, clinic, councillors, hotel like hostels, Dining mess, canteen, etc, though it’s located in a village, PDPU rarely had power cuts due to self sufficient solar energy, I personally enjoy my time in the campus, just lying in the grass, or playing sports
In PDPU, they prepare you for almost everything, when it comes to mechanical engineering, I have a vast majority of subjects and I have equally good professors, PDPU has a great method of teaching and evaluating the student’s performance even during COVID. In my 4th semester, I have total of 12 subjects( including labs) where I get to develop my technical skills( theory and practical) as well as my communication skills, the electives provided make sure that your creative side is flourished.
Well, to be honest I don’t have a really good idea Bablu the placements, all I have heard from my seniors that it’s is not very easy to get a good placement in PDPU, the average placement lies between 5-7 lakhs per Anjum but recently it had reduced and the number of companies which come for placement have reduced
Well the college is excellent, you have labs and a beautiful campus, but according to me, 2.5-4 lakhs per annum is a tough ask, because sometimes you don’t get a package good enough to compensate that 4 lakhs per annum in 4-5 years
When it comes to campus life, PDPU is just like what you expect from a college, it’s a heaven, it matches the movies we see. You have two sets of people, studious, and non studious, but all of them sure know how to enjoy their life to fullest, PDPU is located in a remote area, but you get cabs and rickshaws, you can order food, nearest hospital and petrol pump is within 5 km, Life in PDPU changes you, you have some many events going on that the time just flies away,
If you want a proper education ( a bit tedious but justified one) and a hell of a college life, you must join PDPU, the price tag might intimidate you, but I can guarantee that these four years will be the most memorable and exciting of all.
