For Indian Nationals:
A candidate should have secured a rank in Paper – 1 of JEE (Main) - For All India Quota
OR
A candidate should have secured a rank in ACPC through GUJCET - For ACPC Quota
AND
A candidate should have passed the Qualifying Examination with minimum 45% marks (40% in case of SC / ST) in aggregate in theory and practical of Physics & Maths (with Chemistry or Biology or Computer or Vocational Subject) from a single board.
For foreign nationals;
45% or its equivalent in the qualifying examination i.e. Senior Secondary [10+2] or equivalent with Science Stream (Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics), as applicable in the respective boards from any system of education as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with English as the medium of instruction.
Admission to the First Year of the Bachelor of Technology shall be given as under, namely:
i. Government Seats (33%)
For the purpose of admission on Gujarat Seats, a candidate has to apply at ACPC as per ACPC norms.
ii. All India Seats (52%)
A candidate seeking admission on All India Seats shall apply on-line, on the University website, within the prescribed time limit.
Fifty-Two percent seats shall be filled by the University from the candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State) and have appeared in JEE (Main) 2023. Merit list for these seats shall be based on rank / marks obtained in JEE (Main) 2023.
iii. NRI seats (15%)
These Seats shall be filled by the University as NRI seats from the candidates who have passed the Qualifying Examination from the schools located in India (including Gujarat State) or abroad. Seats shall be filled as per merit based on rank/marks obtained in JEE (Main) 2023.
Infrastructure of PDEU is really good. They have all the necessary facilities and equipment. Classrooms has smart boards, WiFi, AC and are all used and well maintained. And absolutely the living spaces are clean and the food is hygienic.
