B.Tech Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Seemanta Engineering College, Mayurbhanj Offline Course

Candidates desirous of admission into the 4 years Degree Programme in Engineering and Technology in the branches of Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Tele Communication Engineering, Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Computer Science Engineering at Seemanta Engineering College, are to meet the following eligibility criteria:

He / She should have passed +2 Science or XII standard with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the following subjects from Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Electronics / Information Technology/ Statistics / Computer Science. The candidate should have passed the individual subjects and must have obtained at least 45% (40% for the candidates belonging to the ST/SC category) in the above subjects taken together.

• Lateral Entry
• He / She should have passed 3 years diploma in Engineering in the appropriate branch of Engineering/Technology from the State Council of Technical Education and Training (SCTE & VT) or equivalent with a minimum of 45% (40% for the candidates belonging to ST/SC category).
  • He / She should have possessed a valid rank card of OJEE.
  • He / She should be a native of Odisha / should have completed his / her 3 years diploma in Engineering course in an institute of Odisha.
  • He / She should have opted for Seemanta Engineering College as his / her choice & mentioned the disciplines of Engineering available for admission into B.Tech. Program through the Lateral Entry scheme during the time of online choice fill up and at Nodal Centers of OJEE during counseling.
• For Admission to 2nd year Degree Courses in Engineering and Technology under the Lateral entry scheme for B.Sc./+3 Science Students:
• He / She should have passed the Bachelor Degree of Examination of 3 years duration in Science in the relevant field from any University of Odisha or equivalent recognized university as defined by UGC with a minimum of 45% (40% for the candidates belonging to ST/SC category) in aggregate in the qualifying examination and must have passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject.
  • He / She should have possessed a valid rank card of OJEE
  • He / She should have opted for Seemanta Engineering College as his / her choice & mentioned the disciplines of Engineering available for admission into B.Tech. Program during the time of online choice fill up and at Nodal Centers of OJEE during counseling.
