24 MonthsMaster of Computer Application (MCA) is a three years full-time course postgraduate offered by Biju Patnaik University of Technology, Rourkela, and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- He / She should have passed a bachelor's Degree Examination of 3 years duration in any discipline from any University of Odisha or equivalent recognized university as defined by UGC with a minimum of 50% (45% for the candidates belonging to ST/SC category) in the qualifying examination and must have passed XII standard with mathematics as a subject. Business Mathematics at +2 level is not permitted.
- He / She should have possessed a valid rank card of OJEE / NIMCET.
- He / She should have opted for Seemanta Engineering College as his / her choice for admission into the MCA Programme during the time of online choice fill-up and at Nodal Centers of OJEE during counseling.
Admission Details
The institute would admit 54 Students per year, for the academic session with a valid Rank in the OJEE/ NIMCET followed by the counseling process of OJEE, and the rest of 06 seats would be filled up through the NRI quota / Management quota scheme, as decided by the Govt. of Odisha.
For Lateral Entry (M.C.A)
The institute would admit 100% of its total intake capacity, i.e., 12 Students per year, for the academic session with a valid Rank in the OJEE followed by the counseling process of OJEE.
