It's good student friendly infrastructure labs are good we have acs installed in all the labs N the building is good the outdoor is aesthetic n pretty huge sports ground n good hostel with huge rooms.
Some teacher teaches nicely others just read ppt n move on only limited professors are considerate rest do not give marks no matter how much u put effort.... Departments like psychology etc. In those studies are very rare
No placement for science students only for management n finance.....n that too of very less lpa....no major workshops or internships except for certificate courses like mushroom cultivation so that is at all
Only a bit rest is nothing as of value for money cause there is nothing much like that and nothing much worth of money...neither for the fests nor for the facilities but yeah study purpose it's nice..
Average nothing much very small campus n nothing much to wander a very small gym area with lack of equipments n a small cafeteria..... Nothing much we can see hear just time pass but yeah the location is kind of ok for the clg
The infrastructure is quite impressive and the campus areea is also enough big , the canteen is good the water is good and the seminar halls are air conditioned but the class rooms are not and audi is not used.
Teachers are really great, very involved and covers syllabus deeply. The curriculum is also updated and makes us job ready too enough practicals are taught and examined properly. Teachers are very involved.
the quality of placement is something i can't really tell now because most of the students prefer higher studies and right now i m a first year student so cannot give a proper review about placements,,
yes its totally value for money , it is quite affordable but still the quality of education is top notch teachers teach with full enthusiasm and the infrastructure is also great so there is no problem .
the campus lifee is decentt , don't expect tooo much but yes if u make goood friennds you'll make memories there is canteen in college and markets outside college enough to enjoy with friends and for basic needs
Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women, Delhi has a good campus and a nice study environment. The classrooms are air-conditioned and the labs are well-equipped for practical work, which makes learning easier. The library is well maintained, air-conditioned, and spread across three floors. It has a peaceful environment with a good collection of books, making it useful for both study and reference work. Teachers are supportive and helpful. They guide well during practicals and also clear doubts, which makes studies smooth and less stressful. The college also provides DU Wi-Fi access for students College events and fests are enjoyable but usually end early, around 7 PM. Still, they are well-organized and full of fun activities, music, and student participation. Overall, the college gives a balanced experience with good academics, friendly faculty, and enjoyable but time-limited cultural events.
Academics at Shaheed Rajguru College are strong and well-structured under Delhi University. The syllabus is concept-based with a good balance of theory and practicals. Faculty members are supportive and guide students clearly during lectures and lab work. Regular assignments and internal assessments keep studies consistent. Overall, it provides a disciplined and solid academic environment for science students.
As a first-year student, I don’t have complete details about final placements. However, the college regularly conducts internship fairs where students get opportunities for internships and skill exposure. Many seniors from 2nd year and above have successfully done internships through these drives. Overall, the focus is more on internships and experience-building in the early years, which helps in better career opportunities later.
The annual fee for my course is affordable as it is a Delhi University government college. The total cost is around ₹25,000–₹30,000 per year. Yes, I feel I am getting my money’s worth because the college provides good infrastructure like air-conditioned classrooms, a well-equipped three-floor library, labs for practical learning, DU Wi-Fi access, and a decent cafeteria with budget-friendly food. Along with this, the faculty is supportive and teaching quality is strong, especially for science-based courses. Overall, the low fees combined with good academic and practical facilities make it completely worth it.
Societies are very active and full of fun.For example, dance, drama, music, literary, fashion, photography, and sports societies regularly organize events, workshops, and competitions. Being a DU student, exposure is not limited to just our college. Students often interact and participate in events across other Delhi University colleges as well, which increases exposure, networking, and overall learning experience beyond the campus. The students are from diverse backgrounds, and campus life feels active and friendly. Teachers are well-qualified, supportive, and guide well in both theory and practicals. Support staff is cooperative and helps with lab work, admin tasks, and day-to-day college needs. The college is located in Vasundhara Enclave (East Delhi), which is a decent and accessible area with basic facilities nearby. Transport connectivity is good, especially through metro and public transport.
My college has the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments required for proper learning and training. We have wifi in the labs and in e-libraries as well, we have proper equipments for sports. They are all used regularly and maintained well but some problems do occur sometimes. The campus is pretty clean all the time but the food is not that hygeinic all the time for hostel mess and drinking water is also contaminated sometimes. Like there have been complaints when there were insects found in the food and water.
The quality of faculty is good. The professors are really helpful in clearing the concepts and answering the doubts. They conduct a mentor-mentees meeting once a month, in that meeting the students can share any kind of problem they are facing, related to academics, college campus, or any mental issues as well. They try their best to resolve the problem.
The placement cell of our college is not that good as it should be. In fact it doesn't even work properly. They need to have a proper infrastructure for placement cell and they really need to work on it. If anyone gets a job, then they are getting it on their own, the college has no placement cell to help students in this matter.
My course costs roughly 40 thousand rupees per year. In some aspects, the college doesn't provide as much value as they should be providing like the issues I wrote above about the placement cell and for the hostlers it is sometimes difficult to stay there.
The college has nice classrooms, seminar rooms, labs, library and e-library. But I feel there should be smart boards or projectors in every classroom as it is a digital era today and smart boards and projectors play an important role in learning. Classrooms don't have ACs in such a rising temperature and its really tiring to survive. The table and chairs can be more comforting. Every student should have their own personal locker, which we are not provided with. There is a big ground where students can do their daily practice. There is a gymnasium in the basement, there are necessary equipments for sports that are required. There is good space in the basement. The canteen area is big but there are not proper tables and chairs to sit and eat properly. We have an auditorium which was had a function 2 months before. Before that it was not in a proper working condition and the ACs are not working there properly.
If we talk about the fests and events, in that section the students and college is really active. I enjoy participating in the sports event, our college's annual fest and many such events going on every 3 or 4 weeks.
College infrastructure is very impressive with large 9 acre campus. If offers air conditioned classrooms and halls, fully working labs, 3 floor Library and neat surroundings and a good atmosphere for students to study
The academics of the college are good with experienced teachers and a well structured curriculum. Classes are regular, concepts are explained clearly, and students get proper guidance, practical learning and support
The placement opportunities in the college are average. Some companies visit the campus and offer decent roles but students often need to build extra skills and apply off campus to get better career opportunities.
A renowned constituent college of the University of Delhi, Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women is particularly well-known for its emphasis on science, technology, and applied courses. The college features excellent classrooms, labs, computer labs, libraries, and seminar halls on a spotless and well-kept campus.
Academically, the college is well-known for its courses in computer science, electronics, food technology, microbiology, biotechnology, and other applied sciences. The instructors are knowledgeable, encouraging, and heavily emphasise concept clarity and hands-on experience. Internal evaluations, projects, presentations, and routine lab work
Although modest, placements are getting better every year. Particularly in biotech, computer science, and related fields, some departments have higher placement rates than others. In addition to providing internships, training, and career counselling, the placement cell is operational.
In terms of value for money, the DU college's fee schedule is significantly less expensive than that of private schools. The college is a fantastic choice for students and offers a very good return on investment when taking into account the quality of education, university tag, and exposure.
Campus life is harmonious and enjoyable. To keep student life interesting, the college hosts a number of societies, cultural events, seminars, workshops, and annual festivals.
All things considered, Shaheed Rajguru College of Applied Sciences for Women is a good option for students seeking an affordable, high-quality education in applied sciences under the University of Delhi, along with good academic support and respectable career opportunities.
The all over college infrastructure is gud as it was newly build so furniture is not old but washroom aren't gud. All over campus is gud there is enough space.but they do not open auditorium I don't know the reason.
Teachers are not that much gud and not cooperative at all if you have to stand out you need to put on extra effort for which I won't get time cuz attendance issue is there. Even on many topics teachers not themselves know about topics.
As i am in first year I am not much aware of real picture but as I heard from seniors bba fia student gets gud placement but maximum students go for further studies . Out of remaining one 100% placement is there.
I guess it worth the money as compared to other college as there is no space for new ideas and innovation they are much inclined to wards their traditional approach. Societies aren't at all gud, pretty biased to be precise.
Campus life is so so
I personally didn't like the college as their are not much opportunities and location is way too off comapred to other college as there is nothing near the college. I feel ur efforts would be void in that particular college as u dont get much aid There arerestrictions as we are only girls in college teachers usually dont listen us much cuz they know we won't retaliate. Teachers never try to understI would not highly recommend this college at all especially for commerce oriented courses
My college infrastructure is not so good it needs a lot to change , at first I face many problems related to hygiene, clean water for drinking and many things but they try to improve it day by day and I hope that it will became great after some time.
Academics are good , my all teachers are great they teach everything so well which helps me a lot in my studies. In my 2nd semester I'm studying three core subjects, macroeconomics, quantitative technique and cost and management accounting and also three additional subjects which include sec , vac and ge .
My college placements are not so good I think because right now I don't have that much of knowledge about my college placements but according to my seniors it is neutral like some students get placed in companies but only 3-4 LPA.
My overall semester cost is around 37000 but except from this I also spend a alot on my traveling expense ,so sometime it feels less worth it .
Campus life is okay ,there are many things that happened in college and students also enjoy a lot .
No
