College infrastructure is good as compared other colleges in delhi university while it may not look like college like colleges in north campuses but facilities are better than most. Yeah the places are hygienic and food is also hygienic .
So i am studying BMS and the quality is teaching is worse you know teachers just read whatevers in the book. No the curriculum is not updated atleast not in the core subjects while SEC , VAC and other subjects do change and are updated
Many students dont get placed its just the creamy layer who might have done good in societies . I might not be aware about percentage of people placed but highest when i took admission was 44 LPA . The placement process happens in three phases while most the students that were supposed to get placed get in placed in first phase
Well the value for money I will say is good as compared to other colleges where you pay lacs for same course you could do it here within lakh and all three years and get placed if you are excellent in academics and you are in top societeis like Ifsa and and other high rated societies.
Dont know exact fee but it was 26k -27 k per year . Well it should have been worth if i did participate in societies and other events but i did not so no.
If you could give award for worst campus of year it would be our college . Ye literally shuru hote hi khatam ho jata . They have a open gym which is literally of no use no one knows why its there we do have a ground its more of field which has so many holes half of out football team is injured because of it. Yes it can handle emergencies there are hospitals and fire stations nearby . I dont know about support staff or teachers never interacted much
Our colleges is the best in DU In terms of iinfrastructure. We have well equipped washrooms , Acs in every classrooms, heater , Auditorium, Library , Projector in every classrooms , Computer labs with working Pcs , wifi .our college also offers hostel facilities for students .The mess food is also clean and hygiene. Overall our college infrastructure is better than most of the colleges in south and north campus.
Currently I'm in 3rd year pursuing Bsc computer science. Our faculty members are really good at what they do and they are quite experienced in their field .They are also really helpful in terms of academics . Our current curriculum makes us job interview ready and also helps us to prepare for the real corporate world.
The quality of placement of our college is quite decent specially for BMS and Bfia students , for CS students it's not as strong as Bms and bfia.Companies like Bain capability network are the largest recruiters of our college.Around 70-75% students gets placed from our college .our college also offers summer internships for the students .Many students also go for off campus placements .
Per year we spend around 30k for this course .since SSCBS is among the top colleges for Business I think 30k is worth it .Even if you don't get in campus placements, it can help you a lot in terms of social networking a d connections .
Since Sscbs is an offcampus college in rohini , the crowd is very less , students are mostly into academics and are very competitive .Obviously the campus life in sscbs cannot be compared to that of colleges in north campus but it's quite decent .we also have our annual college fest "Crescendo" where popular artist like " krsna, papon " have performed here making the memorable for everybody.
The college infrastructure and the facilities have been a top-notch experience for me and I believe for my colleagues as well, what I liked about the college is the comfortable and well maintained classrooms, libraries and the laboratories also too mentioned the quality of food serve in the canteen and the cleanliness of the washrooms and also the free and fast wifi installed for the students to use it to their own convenience.
I am currently studying computer science bsc and the reason for it is base on my interest in the tech industry and the designing world. The quality of the teaching is one of the best I would say in the whole university as top qualified and educated professors are being provided for the students to gain as much knowledge for them to be job ready, the curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments.
According to statistics of the college in the last years the quality of placements are expectedly high and the offers are great in numbers, the highest salary according to the report was 44 lpa, unfortunately I am not aware about which course it went too and the percentage of students placed, the average salary was accorded at 11 lpa , I haven't went through placement process so I am not qualified to answer.
The cost of my course per year is rs 31000. Yes, it is worth the money as I have mentioned on my other reviews the quality of teaching is top notch and the infrastructure whether it be the facilities and laboratories are up to the mark.
The college campus best features and worst features are mainly that the people are nice and friendly as well as very cooperative on the other hand the campus is quite small for a lot of students it may have its benefits such as networking will be easy. The faculties are supportive and do their best for the welfare of the students, for the location it is safe and yes it can handle emergencies.
The college has better infrastructure than most colleges in the university. It's a 7 floor building, fully air-conditioned, with a large library and dedicated study rooms. If you don't want to study in library, there are plenty of quiet areas available as well. The classrooms are equipped with all the necessary facilities. The mess/canteen is clean, affordable and student-friendly. There are also two franchise outlets on campus- one by amul and another by nescafe. Lastly, there is a small sports ground with a lively atmosphere .
The teaching faculties are well educated and are highly qualified for their roles and are from reputed institutions such as IIM A, SRCC and various other foreign institutes as well. Our college has a collaboration with Harvard Business Publishing as well which helps in making a student industry ready and helps in real case studies.
CBS is famous for its placements you name the company and we have them students are placed in different domains such as finance, consulting, marketing etc. Their are opportunities to work in BCG, McKINSEY, in front end capacities and Bain as well as certain other big firms . If a student is following the process and not lacking in certain basic skill sets and parameters then there's always good opportunities available.
CBS provides you a very good return on investment because paying around 1 lakh rupees for the whole degree and getting in return an average package of 11 lakhs is what you get at cbs and world class exposure which makes you industry ready .
the campus of cbs according to what people expect out of a normal college is not so cool for a person in the initial period but down the line after a month there's a lot to enjoy there are many events organized by different societies and if you want to enjoy life in cbs be a part of the societies volunteer to work and make friends with whom you can share what's happening in your life and what you should do to tackle a certain situation. For the record we have 50+ societies.
At first i felt a bit overwhelmed by seeing other people because some of them were already aware about the domains in which they wanted to excel but the good part of it was that i was learning from them and that's CBS for you you'll always get to learn something from your friends and classmates.
Infrastructure of SSCBS is awesome, when I see it from outside it seems like 5 start hotel. It has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. The whole building is WiFi equipped and fully Air-conditioned, classrooms are equipped with modern technologies but the canteen area is small but hygienic.
As a BMS student at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS), I can confidently say that the academic experience here is outstanding. The teaching quality is truly top-notch, with professors who are deeply dedicated to their subjects and to the success of their students.Classes are conducted in a well-structured manner, and the syllabus is always completed on time, which allows ample time for revision, doubt-solving, and deeper discussions. The faculty members are approachable and always ready to clarify doubts, making the learning environment both supportive and enriching.SSCBS’s focus on academic excellence, combined with real-world applications of concepts, truly sets it apart. I'm grateful to be a part of an institution where education is taken so seriously and delivered so effectively.
Placements at Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) are taken very seriously. The college has a dedicated Placement Cell that works tirelessly to bring in top recruiters and ensure smooth coordination throughout the placement season. Thanks to their consistent efforts and SSCBS’s strong industry reputation, renowned companies like KPMG, EY, Bain Capability Network, and many others regularly visit the campus to recruit students for various roles across domains like consulting, finance, marketing, and analytics. The college’s emphasis on academic rigor, practical exposure, and soft skill development ensures that students are well-prepared to meet industry expectations. Overall, the placement opportunities at SSCBS are excellent and reflect the college’s commitment to student success.
SSCBS truly offers exceptional value for money. With an annual fee of around ₹25,000, the kind of education, exposure, and opportunities provided here are unmatched. The college delivers knowledge and experiences that are worth lakhs in value, whether it's through its high-quality teaching, industry exposure, internships, or placements. The return on investment is incredible, making SSCBS one of the best choices for management education in India. For students seeking top-notch academics without the burden of a heavy fee structure, SSCBS is undoubtedly a perfect fit.
I've rated the campus life at SSCBS 2 stars, primarily because of the limited campus space and the high-pressure environment. Unlike larger universities with sprawling campuses and relaxed vibes, SSCBS has a more compact setup, and the atmosphere is quite competitive. There’s a strong focus on academics and extracurricular achievements, which can sometimes create work pressure, especially for newcomers. For introverted students, it might be a bit challenging to settle in initially, as the fast-paced environment demands active participation and networking. While the college excels in academics and placements, campus life could definitely be more vibrant and inclusive, especially in terms of student relaxation spaces and casual interactions.
Overall, Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) stands out as one of the top institutions for management studies in India. With excellent academic quality, a strong placement track record, and outstanding value for money, it provides students with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities needed to thrive in today’s competitive world. However, the campus life can feel intense and fast-paced, with a smaller physical space and a highly driven peer group.
The infrastructure of the college as per government standards is pretty decent. The classrooms are ait conditioned and well equipped and the facilities are decent. Library is well maintained and the food is okay.
Studying business administration in finance on campus. The professors are well qualified and the curriculum seems decent. Not sure if they are properly updated or to the mark. Placements in the college appear good as of now, not sure about what comes next.
Placements are decent as per an undergraduate degree. Not sure what percentage of the batch actually manages to secure placements each year but the ones that do are placed quite well. Not sure if the placements shown online are inflated or not either.
It costs around 25 thousand rupees per year for the business administration course. Other courses vary. I would say the return of investment here is worth it and the college is worth the hype given the environment and the hustle culture.
Campus Life is average. The campus is very small, although it is well structured and maintained, it is very small and not a lot to do. Other than that, the college experience has been, so far, decent.
The college is well equipped with equipments, infrastructure and facilities needed by students. Classrooms are clean equipped with projectors and air conditioning is also there. Lifts are also there in the college with hygienic toilets.
I am currently pursuing BBA(FIA) because I was interested in Trading but finance is such a bigger concept I was looking into a part of finance but I got the chance to study the whole part of finance. The quality of teaching is really good as the professors themselves are well adapted to the current scenario.
The placement scenario is quite complex though as to be very good placements are there but the process of getting placed becomes quite tiring and overwhelming but that might be a plus point as well as it prepares students for the real world. Most of the people get placed that work hard from the first semester itself. The highest package has been 33 lakhs so far and average going around 11 lakhs per annum. The college leaves no stone unturned while helping students through the placement process.
For the amount of fees per annum the facilities, equipment and infrastructure is totally worth it as the college is a government college so the fees is way cheaper than those private with better infrastructure and facilities.
As the college is an off campus college you won’t be seeing a lot of other students from other colleges that you would be seeing in north campus and south campus. The environment around the college is very competitive and serious. You won’t face problems for transportation as both yellow and red line metros are nearby, you can just pay 10-20 rs to reach the metro stations.
Nothing much more but you won’t regret coming to this college if you are serious about life as this college makes you mature early and making you realize your own responsibilities. You will learn so many valuable lessons in this college. So if you are serious about it then you can go ahead with this college.
the college has decent infrastructure overall, classroom are well air-conditioned, some desks are broken but they get fixed, classes are big but still small for a class of 80 people, classes do have projectors but some don't work, canteen is clean but there are too many flies which make it unhygienic, sports ground is not that well maintained many people have sustained injury in that ground.
I'm studying bms because i didn't knew what to pursue later so bms offers some specializations, the quality of teaching is average some teachers are really good and some teachers don't bother to teach, some come too late and just take attendance and leave, curriculum is updated but it doesn't make us job ready
the quality of placements is good, prominent recruiters are Accenture, BCG, EY, McKinney and company, kpmg, Bain and company, etc. average package was 13.42 LPA, median was 14.63LPA, highest was 23.50 lpa,
course fees is around 27000 and it is worth it for this amount the facilities we are getting
so the campus life is a bit boring i guess there i not much happening everyday like it is a college for total nerds, students engage in dance music and society activities, there are all kinds of students you'll find here and also all kind of teachers and support staff is good, the location could've been better
The college infrastructure is way above other DU colleges. It has all kind of advanced facilities including lifts, smart boards, ACs in every room, modern auditorium and 2 toilets in each floor for both the genders, a library with all required books and ample space for studying. Yes, there is wifi available across the campus and hostel facility but with limited seats. The hostel allotment happens every year according to academics. The only infrastructure it lacks is good sports facility. If you are a sports enthusiast then you will surely be disappointed with the college.
Regarding my course, I can choose to decide which specialization to do either marketing, consulting, HR or finance at the 3rd year of college. That was the main reason I preferred BMS over BBA-FIA. The teachers are really good and supportive. Practical components are a part of most of the subjects. Moreover, we get access to all the online study materials and 40+ harvard courses for free.
The placement of our college is really good infact one of the best in DU. But it really matters upon your skills, academic, internships and achievements such as case competitions(I know most of you are hearing it for the first time, but competing in them is really important for placements.). You will need to start preparing for the placements from the 1st semester itself for a high CTC placement. According to the 1st phase of the 2024-2025 placement session; average package was 13.42 LPA, highest package was 23.50 LPA, Median package was 14.63 LPA and the top quartile average was 18.77 LPA. More than 70% of placement was offered for consulting roles.
Absolutely value for money based on the placements and infrastructure it offers. Moreover, the course fees is really less.
I personally had a hard time adjusting to the college, but with time things went smooth. Overall, I will say this college has its priorities and campus life doesn't seem like one of it. Students, teachers and support staff are good and supportive except for the admin staffs who like most other colleges doesn't know to reply straight forward. There are 40+ societies for students to engage and make friends with . It is located in Rohini sector 16, with the nearest metro station being rithala. yes, it is safe and can handle emergency situations.
I feel I should have started learning extra skills during my early days in college because of which I feel most of my batchmates have gone ahead of me. But with the right mindset I feel I can achieve my goals.
Best infrastructure in the campus. The college is best in entire DU colleges. It is the best off campus in terms of infrastructure. The college has total of 8 floors. It is a purr hotel format made building. There is only one building. There is a dedicated 2 lift also. And the best part In each classrooms AC is present.
Academically it comes under the best suited colleges. There is only three courses in the college overall - BMS, BBA(FIA), and Computer Science. All the three courses are top notch and highly ranked among the DU circuit.
The placement in the campus comes from highly reputed recruiters. Companies like google, Microsoft, are prominent here. The campus experience a total of 92% placement rate with highest placement around 30 lpa and average of 9lpa.
Total value for money. The fees roughly goes between 20 thousand per semester to 30 thousand. And the best part in this low amount fees you experience a high placement rate whivh makes a it best in ROI.
Campus life i may say bit average. Since there are only 3 courses, the crowd here is compromised. You get to know each other in a very few range. The connections you build here is limited. The exposure to different courses are not achieved here.
Hello,
To apply to Shaheed Sukhdev College of Business Studies (SSCBS) for programs like BMS, BBA(FIA), or B.Sc. (Hons) in Computer Science, you must meet certain eligibility criteria.
