College Infrastructure
It has a square infrastructure with 4 floors. It has all the facilities and equipment. All the classrooms are cleaned regularly and the Library is the best place to read and quite comfortable too. The living spaces are always clean and hygienic. The food is tasty and cooked with all precautions and safe to eat.
Academics
I'm pursuing Ty BSc Biotechnology. The faculty members are friendly and they make us understand a topic very well. Yes it includes all the updated topics which are required for our further studies. Yes.
Placements
There is no placement for biotechnology. But they recommend us to the best institute for further studies. For other departments there are placement opportunities and they are placed in a good company. The college is supportive and helpful.
Value-for-money
39k it is a self financed course. We require the components for the practical which would be costly but can reduce the fees.
Campus Life
College campus contains various sections it has Library, gymkhana etc so we could experience different exposure with different departments. There are fest of each department and conduct really amazing events. There is great support to students from teachers. All emergencies are tackle quite easily and quickly.

Overall it is an amazing college for different exposure.

College Infrastructure
College infrastructure is really good and they fulfill the necessary requirements considering the benches, projectors, classroom facilities andand also the canteen food is really affordable and hygienic
Academics
I'm a bms student in this college. Here the teaching done is adequate, the doubts are cleared and the syllabus is up to date and so the academics in this college is better than average according to me.
Placements
Here a lot of great companies are coming for the placements. With the requirement of various requirements. And so, students get a lot of opportunities to prove their skill during these college placements.
Value-for-money
I'm a bms student, and so my fees was 30000 which is pretty affordable for me and if I consider the college facilities and overall benefit I get from being in the college, then it's totally has the value for money.
Campus Life
Campus life is great as there is a lot of opportunities provided in the college to showcase your skills aand talents. The college every year conducts the college fest which really helps to build in your skills.
Anything Else
By considering my experience in the college and over all time spent, I'll say that the college is really good and very much worth your time and money that you put in for learning. I would totally recommend this college.

Yes it does have a canteen and an amazing reading area and library and there are plenty of classrooms and a very good computer section it is very classy and induces comfort and interest while studying

Amazing education the teachers really want students to learn and not just for the sake of it the kind of projects we are given are extremely interesting and makes you really wonder about ideas and topics
Placements
I don’t know yet because I’m still graduating but as soon as I graduate I think I will get a good placement in the particular field that I want when I ask my seniors they tell me that the placement opportunities are great

College Infrastructure
The college infrastructure is really well maintained and clean. The college has library, science and computer labs and canteen as well. The classrooms are huge and spacious. The classroom has all necessary equipments too.
Academics
The quality of teaching is good and updated. The study is theoretical, practical and projects based. Hence, it makes us job ready as well. It is one of the best colleges in Mumbai and it is an autonomous college.
Placements
The college doesn't directly give us placements but encourage up to take up internships in the third year making us job ready. They also provide complete assistance and support throughout the process.
Value-for-money
The fees is only 6,000 per year including all amenities. As it is one of the best colleges, the fees is really less and totally worth. We are allowed to use all the facilities in the college including the sports club.
Campus Life
The college technically has no campus its a building but a huge building. We have events like annual days - named Vision, other sports events etc. The teachers know their subjects well and are supportive.
Anything Else
Overall its really a good college. It is worth the fees and gives complete education in their respective field. You can meet all kinds of people and its really a good for learning things. It is also near to Sion station which makes travelling easier.

College Infrastructure
The college has wide and clean classroom. Laboratories are well equipped and we'll maintained. Library has a huge reading hall associated with it and contains lots of outstanding books for readers. The college also has a gymkhana for students to play games like chess, carrom, etc.
Academics
I completed my graduation in B.Sc. Biotechnology from SIES College and also pursuing my M.Sc in Biotechnology from the same college. The college has been consistently updating syllabus for students to update them with the ongoing research and development in various fields. The teaching quality is awesome. Great faculty members.
Placements
As of now Biotechnology students don't get a campus placement. Many other departments do get placements from the placement drive that is conducted every year on the campus of SIES College. Majorly students from the last year of their course can give interviews if interested.
Value-for-money
The college provides various scholarships for students coming from economically weaker sections. SEAT scholarship is also provided which is the scholarship from the college itself.
Campus Life
Campus is not huge as such. But it's clean and well maintained. Hygiene and cleanliness is taken care of around the college. There are various activities ongoing in the college each month. Various clubs and social groups are made by the students to have interactive sessions, for extracurricular activities and more.

College Infrastructure
SIES has all the mandatory infrastructure, facilities and equipment like they give us full access to the library, laboratories are well equipped and very well maintained Gymkhana and the classrooms. The students aren't with Wifi. The college has clean classrooms and surrounding. But the only lack in infrastructure is the availability of a playground.
Academics
I did my bachelors in biotechnology from SIES. The curriculum there is well updated and it includes all the recent developments in the field it does make you job-ready. The teachers there were very kind and approachable. All the faculty members would help you with all the doubts and and provide you with necessary guidance. They do motivate and uplift the students.
Placements
As far as biotechnology is concerned, there's no placements but in other departments there were placements and my friends did get a good placement and companies with lump sum starting salary. So, the placements available are good for the refreshers.
Value-for-money
It cost me approximately around 30,000/- rs per year but it's completely worth the money.
Campus Life
There are various extracurricular activities available like NSS, NCC, different clubs, etc. The college is safe and it can handle emergencies. The only issue is place floods during rainy season towards the railway station and around the college.
Anything Else
I had my best 3years in there. Not a single day went by without creating memories to cherish.

College Infrastructure
Biotechnology lab doesn't have the advanced lab equipments but has all that is required for the academic course. For me the library was the best of all. Classrooms are spacious and well lit. College is very conscious about cleanliness and hygiene , so no worries about it!
Academics
The quality of teaching is actually very good. faculty pushes us to do our best and tend to our queries promptly. The curriculum is updated and includes all the necessary topics needed for entrance and interviews.
Placements
I have no experience regarding this , so I can't comment on this , since I haven't completed the course. You can find this information in other reviews or the college's official site...................
Value-for-money
My course is self financed so it costs more naturally ( 35-40K) .
Campus Life
College campus isn't that big there's NCC and NSS , that students can engage in . There are many clubs that students can join in ,its pretty good. The college is located in a safe location , close to railway and bus stations. The crowd in this college is decent . Only during monsoon , problems might occur as this college is in a low lying area.

Overall the college gives us a great experience just the management and exam committee can improve.

Yes, my college has all the necessary infrastructure, equipment, and facilities for all the students equally. The living spaces are very clean and the canteen foods are also very hygienic. My college has all the necessary facilities.
Academics
I'm studying Bsc. Biotechnology. This subject interests me alot hence I selected this course. The quality of teaching is excellent 👌. This course gives me job opportunities in many different fields also.
Placements
My college is very supportive towards all the students. My department, The Department of Biotechnology also provides with Masters course and also train the students for Phd courses. There are many students who are very successful in their careers.
Value-for-money
1st year - 30,000. 2nd year- 35,000. 3rd year - 38,000. Yes it is worth it for this study.
Campus Life
My college campus is very good. It has gymkhana where all the indoor sports takes place, we also have gyms.

College Infrastructure
All the necessary facilities are available but couldn't be said the same for equipments as some of the experiments require equipments which are very sensitive or expensive, so they're either not available if it is, students aren't allowed to use it, or are supposed to use it under supervision. Rest all of the above is positive.
Academics
I did my Bsc in Biotechnology. The quality of teaching is good. The teachers are well versed in their topic and are approachable whenever we have any doubts. The curriculum, however, doesn't include all the recent developments made in the field, but is something they're working on.
Placements
Unfortunately, our college doesn't provide any campus placements. If you wish to work after your graduation, you have to find a job yourself which is tiring and ofcourse because of this, the percentage of graduates who work is very low.

College Infrastructure
SIES College of Arts, Science and Commerce has got a pleasant and ambient atmosphere around itself. There are four floors and a lift and canteen at the ground floor as well as in the 3rd floor. There's a wonderful library, a gymkhana and gym as well. However, the only disadvantage is the poor maintenance of canteen and toilets at the ground floor. The living spaces follow proper hygiene and also food supplied is tasty and served hot whenever needed. However, the canteen is not at all hygienic.
Academics
I'm currently pursuing my third year BSc. Biotechnology after realising my interest towards cancer research and molecular biology. The quality of teaching is one of the best among Mumbai. The teaching staff and the non-teaching staff are extremely helpful and are very much co-operative with the students. The new curriculum is simply awesome with the inclusion of some exciting topics like Neurochemistry, Pharmacology and some molecular biological techniques related to Agribiotechnology.
Placements
As I am in the Biotechnology department, most of the students opt for pursuing Masters and then pursuing a job or applying for PhD. However, our alumni have been currently working in the top biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies in the world and in India.
Value-for-money
It's really worth. The knowledge and experience you will get through the curriculum, the field visits and of course, the fests like Visions and Operon would really mould one into a model citizen!
Campus Life
The hygiene has been a main concern for the college. However, the food is simply great and there are various eateries nearby like Guru Kripa and Annaji Dosawala, the notable ones! A must try menu in the Dosawala is the Butter tea and Masala Dosa! The location is very much safe with Sion Station accessible by 10 mins walk and the GTB Nagar station accessed by 10-15 mins walk.
Anything Else
The teachers of Biotechnology department and all other departments are underrated! They deserve to be well known and especially the Principal and Vice Principal are very much accessible and they help a lot when needed! Also, the non-teaching staff develop a great bonding with us. The whole staff becomes a family!

College Infrastructure
The quadrangle is the highlight of our college. Every activity performed there could be viewed from any direction of the college. The rooms are spacious and provides the students with an excellent library.
Academics
I took up the course of bcom.It is a 3 years course.Teacher were highly qualified and supportive. It has subjects like accounts and commerce which are constant in all the 3 years. More theoretical knowledge than practical.
Placements
Good companies and firms approach this college. During our year there were about quarter of century companies that approached. Lot of my friends got placed.The placement cell does a wonderful job. Got a internship myself.
Value-for-money
My course, bcom was an inexpensive course. The total of 3 years hardly exceeded ₹25000.
Campus Life
Made lots of friends. And the networking got really strong through college events.

College Infrastructure
College consists of 4floors with proper facilities for students from library to gym, gymkhana where activities takes place. There's auditorium inside the college premise as well. Yes, living space is clean and hygienic.
Academics
When it comes to academics, faculty is amazing. They teach you through edu com on projector. Faculty makes sure you're thorough with the syllabus. They teach you off topic as well related to the course, on ground work is also given by teacher to understand properly.
Placements
The quality of placements are good. Faculty keep sending you the opportunity to take internship, they give you exposure by making work under them. Highest salary package was 15000 for singer and modelling. Average salary was 5000. Yes the college was supportive.
Value-for-money
The course costed me 24000-25000per year. Yes I feel I'm getting my money worth it, because the faculty is upto the mark when it comes to teaching, and even extra curriculum activities required for a student to get exposure.
Campus Life
Worst feature of college campus is that, it's quite small. Best part about the college is it's small but yet covers evey thing, gymkhana, gym, canteen audi, restroom for girls. Yes the location is safe and can handle emergencies.

The college has all the necessary infrastructure. They provide with all the facilities like laboratories, libraries, sports, canteen etc. Teaching are done through Educom. The classroom is quite spacious and clean.
Academics
I'm studying Bammc, because I've got interest in advertisement and photography. Teaching is v nice and Upto the mark. It includes all the recent development in the field and even on field work is thought my teachers
Placements
Not yet graduated, so no idea about the placement. But I've heard through my seniors the placement which they provide is good and starting amount is atleast 5000-10000. The process was made quite easy to avoid mess.
Value-for-money
It coated me around 25000 per year. I feel it's worth the money
Campus Life
The campus is small but yet it's amazing. We have all the activities fest taking place in our campus. The location is in soon, it's safe and reliable as it's near to station
Anything Else
The teachers,the staff the crowd everything is great. The best part about the college is their teaching skills. Teachers put extra efforts to teach their students and it's worth the money.

"Only big discipline names but fake P.R fames " although is trying hard to build up only reputation in terms of discipline but go if give cross reality check out it's live about being an alma matter instuyion it doesn't even function even like an organisation, & incase of BMM it's so horrified , dat it's hopelessness can't be explained, it doesn't even have proper college time -table (during time educational inspection it just potrays that it has a whatsapp grp in which they post college timings) we don't get our notes , leave about getting during academic year , we don't it get a day before exams , it typically so bureaucratic pops it only takes funds in name welfare& donation but never excutes anything, it doesn't even have a proper teaching staff , we have visting guest lecturers for which they charge 10,0000 apart frm college academic fees but lectures 're never conducted at all , they charge 5000 for Computer lab fees , (but god kws where's lab)they keep on simly taking charges for this& that event &donation for other colleges , The crowd is almost impossible ragging os nothing for them& students all are daily soap brats, to plays the game of thrones unnecessarily for no reason (but still they force us to say good about their college) -An honest review

Have been a part of the institute for a long time and am proud of it. My teachers have taught me to be self sufficient and self motivated which in my opinion is the most important thing education can give. Received lot of help in terms of further education and gaining work experience. My department( biotechnology) is a mixture of experienced as well as young professors both of which qualities work for students' good. We were encouraged and helped to prepare for entrances and improving research skills. My teachers don't believe in spoon-feeding but will help us whenever needed. Infrastructure is not very great but steps that can be taken for the limited space are being taken. I am pursuing a PhD and am always appreciated for my basics which I owe to my teachers.

One of the best places to learn. I really appreciate the help by the teaches and non teaching staff. In-spite of the confined place we were allotted we were given the best treatment and taught everything.I can confidently say the entire syllabus and practicals was covered by the teachers as i have had friends across Mumbai in different colleges who were not taught many things. Biophysics is neglected in many colleges but our HOD was kind enough to hire an expert from university of Mumbai. Also, Bioinformatics was not well understood by us for which again an expert was called from university of Mumbai. Internship helped a lot in my career path,for which major credit goes to the faculty as they guided us through the entire process. When it was time to apply for jobs or further studies, the well build network by teaches with ex- students was very helpful. Extra curricular activity was encourages a lot and we were personally felicitated by the principal in person. Because of the amazing faculty and friends it always felt like home. I would recommend this college to everyone who aspires to do well in life. It not only made academically strong but also made me a better person. I will be always indebted to my teachers for the knowledge they imbibed in me.

I did post graduation in biotechnology from SIES college. It was a wonderful being part of this prestigious college. The two year course was indeed a memorable experience of my life. We were a class of 20 students, was not less terrific than a jurassic park , I still wonder how did our professors managed us. Our teaching faculty was excellent. The teaching was not limited to just Syllabus rather we were prepared for facing entrance exams and interviews. Our classroom and laboratory were well maintained and well equipped. Our lab assistants were our friends. At any point of time our doubts were cleared. We had industrial visit which further exposed us to the real biotech world rather than the one in the books. Our teachers motivate us to think beyond the concepts written in books. I got an opportunity to do my dissertation in Asia's best cancer Institute. The exposure I got from my dissertation project still act as a backbone for my career. My CV stands out compared to others because of my dissertation project. Thanks to my proffessors who were the silent but the main players who helped me in getting into this Institute. The fear that comes once we finish our post grad as to what next? In our case it was zero, our professors helped us in placements. We were placed within few months after our final exams in best institutes. Overall I had a memorable sweet & wonderful experience of my life. Really happy to be part of this college.

The college has excellent infrastructure facilities with a good library. There was not much placement assistance from the college at my time but I have heard that now the college provides excellent placement facilities. The faculty of the college is vastly experienced and has many years of industry experience behind them. There were no hostel facilities in the college at my time but now I have heard that the college provides good hostel facilities. Overall, I would recommend this college to any student looking to make a career in Arts, Science or Commerce field.

I will always have fond memories attached to this place. Along with the studying, the college life fun was very enjoyable. Biotechnology being an unaided course, infrastructure wise we had a very hard time..there was no classroom allowed, just a cramped waiting space converted into a classroom, the labs were too small with just three table fans..it was very hot but we had to adjust with it as it was not an aided course. But we still managed with the best..and the course went on smoothly. Syllabus wise the portion was covered by us. students as presentations each. A few guest lectures here and there..internal exams to cover the rest..and the whole portion was a done thing. Wish some actual teaching had happened. Two years of post graduation went by pretty fast..thanks to a few good friends and left behind a lot of beautiful college memories.

I had an excellent college life. Had superb faculty.Professors were very helpful.The crowd was decent and enthusiastic. Took part in many inter-college festivals. Made many new contacts and friends.Since professors were very supportive had a lovely academic record.Overall super duper experience.

A good college with some very experienced faculty..some Professors are excellent and have been in the college for decades.. The learning experience was the best in this college. However the shortcomings would be the infrastructure. The college needs to improve on its lighting and ventilation. The benches are old and uncomfortable. Locker facilities and Internet connectivity would be added advantages for the students. The canteen food was good but being in the basement it needs more ventilation. All in all, a great college can be even better if these things are looked into!

My college was the best place for commerce aspirants. As computer science was a new branch we didn't initiate many programs. The college fest is most interesting and lively part of my college life. College makes sure that student interactions and participation in certain actives is compulsory which can further help in development of personality and confidence in student. Teacher-Student relationship is very good which is why students can be really comfortable to ask any questions related to text. New Ideas are always supported. College and campus location are very good. The canteen area can be made better and faculty for BMM was average then. The teaching facilities are good and so is the library. The computer facility room a decade back was average but nothing special. You meet students and teachers from all walks of life and I have made some of my dear friends while studying with them at SIES. The college also arranges special classes for specially challenged and underprivileged students which make me a proud ex-SIES student.

I was in S.I.E.S nerul for 5 years and don't regret being in it a single day. From the college fest to various committees, it pushes you to bring out your best along with balance in academics. Though I would recommend the college make the lawn usable for students rather than "cows", the campus has enough places for the bunkers to pass their time. That said, though not now, the college will surely come up to the level of town colleges in some years. I would definitely recommend students to join the college as it helped me define myself and reach where I am today. Goodluck!

Decent infrastructure, Good place to socialise with new people, Teaching staff friendly, amazing canteen but vegetarian only. Very good for the science department. College festivals a fun time and new to experience each year. The college includes sports and other outdoor activities as well.
