The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students.

There is a health care center with a qualified doctor available on the campus at all times.

There is also a multi-gym unit under an instructor in the college. A separate room for the same has been provided in the ground floor of the Northern Block. There are two courses per year, each of six months duration.

The Central Library and Information Centre of Sushil Kar College is the core learning resource of the college which plays a vital role in enhancing the quality of the teaching-learning environment in the institution. The library covers near about 3000 sq. ft. of carpet area housed on the first floor of the main building. The total area of the library consists of a stack room, a circulation section, a reading hall for the students, a separate reading section for the teaching staff, a technical section, and a librarian’s chamber. The library has a wide collection of documents in the form of textbooks, reference books, etc. to complete the knowledge and information hunt of the students, teachers, and other staff of the college.

The College holds Annual Sports in the month of February/March, Intra College Cricket and Football tournaments, and Carrom competitions as and when the classes are a bit slack. Students go to participate in State Level Athletic Meet every year.

The College has separate laboratories for all subjects i.e. Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics, Physiology, and Zoology. All laboratories are well equipped to meet the requirements of teaching and learning as per the syllabus.
