B.Tech Mechanical Engineering at Synergy Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar Offline Course

Out of the total seats in any branch, 75% of the seats are filled through JEE, and 15% through the Central Council. 15% of the seats are filled through ranks obtained under AIEEE. Counseling for such rank holders is conducted by BPUT. The remaining 10% seats are NRI quota. In case candidates are not available under the NRI quota, such lapsed/vacant seats are filled by the management quota at the institute level from students with a valid OJEE/AIEEE rank.

Admission Policy for Lateral Entry: The institute can take students in this category, maximum to an extent of 20% of the total capacity, subject to 60% marks in the diploma in engineering examination. The students will have to qualify in JEE and get admission in the 2nd year straightaway.
