Synergy Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has an excellent well stocked computerized library with all the required reading materials. The Library is enriched with a book of academic interest, Journals, Literature, and others. It is also an associate institutional member of DELNET as well as the INDEST-AICTE Consortium. The Library also provides a Current Awareness Service(CAS), Book Bank, and Reprographic facility to the students.

The institution has an air-conditioned core computer center in addition to departmental computer laboratories. There are 360 desktop computers and 2 servers: one each for Windows & Linux. Two of these servers are of IBM make. All the systems are under LAN where it is designed by the principle of structural cabling. The servers are equipped with licensed operating systems like Linux, Novel Software, and Windows 2003. Other peripheral facilities like a laser printer, high-resolution scanning, multimedia graphics support, and CD/ DVD writing and generators are also available.

The institute has, at present, 2 MBPS leased line internet facilities from BSNL distributed over a Wi-Fi network. Besides two broadband internet connections are available for administration. Students can browse relevant websites and download educational materials during their free time.

The College has a modern Seminar hall-cum-auditorium with a ceiling-mounted with a digital projection system is available; It has a seating capacity of 50.

The institute has 6 buses each with 55 seating capacity. Interested student of the institute is provided transport from specified points of twin towns to campus and back. Two bus plies from Bhubaneswar and four from Cuttack. The timings and other operational details of the transport are notified on the Institute Notice Board. Entry into the bus is on the basis of the production of the I-Card.

Facilities exist for both indoor games and outdoor games & sports activities. Basketball court, Volleyball court, Cricket, and Football fields are available which students use during their free time. Interested students are encouraged to register their names with the in-charge faculty members for participation in various activities. Boys’ and girls’ hostel common rooms are equipped with indoor games facilities like Table Tennis, Carom, and Chess. Additionally, all the hostels including the Girls’ hostel have ultra-modern Multi-GYM for physical fitness and bodybuilding of both boys and girls.

The institute has a spacious canteen located on the second floor of the new building. It has a modern kitchen. Snacks, fast food, and lunch are available during office hours for the staff and students.

The institute maintains a dispensary with first aid provisions to look after minor emergencies. An ambulance has been allotted for the dispensary.

The institution has two hostels, one for Boys. The college boys hostel is located on a college campus. Institution bus transport provides to the students from the hostel and back. The institution has two hostels, one for Girls. The girl's hostels are located at Cuttack at a distance of 15 km from the college. Institution bus transport provides to the students from the hostel and back.
