College Infrastructure
The bathrooms are too small and not cleaned properly. There is also a reported lack of management for sanitary napkins in emergencies. The hostel facility is not good. The students sometimes stay in local messes or PGs in Mallarpur.
Academics
The college offers undergraduate (UG) degrees in Arts and Science, including Honours and General courses in subjects like English, Physical Education, Geography, Santali, History, Sanskrit, Bengali, Mathematics, and Philosophy. Professors are very good.
Placements
If your primary goal is to secure a high-paying corporate job immediately after an undergraduate degree, you should be aware that the college's primary strength, based on the statistics, is in facilitating further education and preparation for the public sector, not direct corporate recruitment.
