Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) in Nursing is a four-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidate with Science who has passed the qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together and passed in English individually.
  • Candidates are also eligible for State Open Schools recognized by the State Government and the National Institute of Open Schools (NIOS) recognized by the Central Government having Science subjects and English only.
  • English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 to be eligible for admission to B.Sc. (Nursing).
  • Color blind candidates are eligible provided that color-corrective contact lenses and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
  • The candidate shall be medically fit.
