Vidya Academy of Science and Technology, Thrissur was established in 2003. The college is accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) and approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE). VAST Thrissur is an ISO 9001:2015 Certified institute and is affiliated with APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University, Thiruvananthapuram. The Vidya Academy of Science and Technology courses include B.Tech, M.Tech and MCA in different specialisations. All the VAST Thrissur courses are offered in full-time mode only. Vidya Academy of Science and Technology admissions to B.Tech programmes are offered based on the candidate’s performance in the Kerala Engineering, Architecture and Medical Entrance Exam (KEAM). The VAST Thrissur admission process for M.Tech programmes is based on scores obtained by candidates in AMIE/AMIETE and GATE. For MCA admissions, valid scores in the MCA Entrance Examination of Kerala are required. As per NIRF 2022, the Vidya Academy of Science and Technology median salary package offered to UG students was Rs 3,25,800 and for PG students was Rs 3,25,000. Some of the Vidya Academy of Science and Technology facilities are boy's hostels, girl's hostels, cafeteria, auditorium, sports, library, convenience store, parking and banking facilities and many more.
