B.Tech Civil Engineering - Batch of 2019-01-01
Academics
Most of the professors are passionate about their job and is approachable. They are not reluctant to provide additional remedial classes for students who need more clarity in concepts. However, academics doesn't make one job ready.
College Infra
Quite spacious campus and a great ambience. classrooms and laboratories are well maintained. Hostels are clean and food is also decent. The facilities are good. sports. the college playground is very big.
Campus Life
Excellent campus life. Equal importance of given to extracurricular activities as well as studies. Ample opportunities to showcase and polish one's talent or skills.
The location is safe and is a bus-going route.
Placements
The quality of the placements is satisfactory. This is one aspect college should work on. The college does not guarantee 100% placement. Civil and mechanical engineering branches have got few companies that come for recruitment as compared to computer science engineering.
Value For Money
It depends on the fees that one is paying which varies depending on the entrance score or scholarship. However, it is one of the good private engineering colleges in Thrissur.

Academics
Teachers are really good but there is so much to study, tons and tons of portions to study .I don't think that all these won't give benefits in our practical life. Skill development is not on the focus
College Infra
Our college have a wonderful infrastructure,the surroundings are very ecofriendly, our campus is surrounded with many trees and plants, it is very clean but there were many street dogs in the area which is quite fearful ,our labs are well equipped, spacious library with wifi facilities, hostel food is kind of okey but many of the students get frequent stomach discomfort and illness
Campus Life
College campus is wonderful, it has a wonderful spacious huge auditorium fully air conditioned but wont put AC on for the programs we students need to sit there in the heat for a long time. If they are not ready to put AC atleast they coud fix fan on the ceiling such that that could give a relief. Campus is ecofriendly, tech fest is huge there it was a wonderful experience, Every year college conducts ARTS FEST, ONAM CELEBRATION, CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION
Placements
Actually there are no proper placement in civil engineering stream . Some companies do offer but they prefer the IT skills in us. In most placements they check and examine based on coding or programming skills.No proper civil engineering companies provide placement for us.Also if they give it will be for only for very less salary like 10k or below.But when it comes for IT dept they offer higher payscale job offers
Value For Money
It cost around 42k for one semester! Even though it was a merit seat. I say its not worthy because we pay lakhs and lakhs to complete the course and we r not getting a good job and if we get a job it will offer very less salary and hectic job Only hope for a civil engineer to survive in this period of time is to get a government job!

Academics
The quality of teaching is good but not great. The curriculum was not that up-to-date during our time but I am not sure what's the current status. Students graduating from here are not job ready and needs some real world experience.
College Infra
The college has all the necessary infrastructure required for an engineering college. The libraries are pretty decent and the sports department is quite strong in this campus. Projectors are present in every classes too.
Campus Life
Campus life is extraordinary, with many programs and competitions throughout the year. As there are many students in the campus, networking opportunities are huge. Also student activities like NSS make the campus life complete.
Placements
Poor in terms of placements and internships. Students struggle to get placements after the course, and the college does not guarantee placements. Some students who get placements are placed in IT companies.
Value For Money
The fees is not that high and with scholarships, you could complete your course with minimal fees. Also, the hostel fees is reasonable and food there is quite good. The sports facilities are also good.
