The campus had a simple charm that reminded me of older Kolkata institutions. Classrooms were modest but usually well kept. Facilities were not modern, yet they served the basic purpose. The library had enough books, though many felt outdated.
The academic atmosphere encouraged seriousness and discipline, and most teachers displayed genuine dedication to our progress. The Bachelor of Arts Pass course had a clear structure that helped even average students stay on track, and lectures were usually thorough and engaging. Despite the absence of modern tools, the teaching quality remained dependable and surprisingly effective. The faculty often pushed us to think beyond the textbook, and the academic support gave me confidence in my fundamentals. Overall, the learning experience felt stronger than the physical environment around it.
Placement opportunities during my time were extremely limited, and the college did not have an organised placement cell. Students had to rely mainly on their own efforts, and career guidance existed only in a very informal manner. Industry exposure was almost nonexistent, and workshops or recruitment drives rarely occurred. There was little structure to help students prepare for the job market, and many of us had to search independently after graduation.
The fee structure was reasonable for a middle class family. The education quality matched the amount we paid. There were no unnecessary charges or hidden costs. The college maintained affordability without compromising basic learning. Considering the time period, it provided fair returns. It felt like a sensible investment for higher education.
Campus life was simple and peaceful, offering a calm atmosphere rather than a highly energetic one. Cultural programmes occurred occasionally and brought a sense of togetherness among students, although organised activities were limited. Friendships formed easily because of the close knit nature of the college, and safety inside the campus was reassuring.
Yes more or less my college is having all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Each and every room is provided with smart boards, ACs, proper washrooms where hygiene is highly maintained, canteen, sports ground , garden, library, medical room and computer labs. One thing I love about this college is that it's having proper hygiene be it food or sanitation.
I am studying sociology simply because I love the subject and want to study it in a detailed manner. The quality of teaching is good yet needs to improve a little.Yes I think that reading sociology helps me to know more about our recent times and development and surely making me ready for job to some extent.
Oh it's good . Many of our seniors got good jobs and they are earning 30 to 35k per month. Students above 85% are getting good jobs. So definitely our college is supportive and yes the all the teachers are very friendly.
It takes semester wise so each semester it takes more than 3k . No because if I compare education with the money we are paying so it's absolutely not justified as because the quality of education needed to be improved a little.
Our college campus consists of gardens, own gym, lifts, smart boards, library, canteen and even ACs. It also consists of medical room. The only thing lacking in this college is proper labs especially psychology practical labs. Otherwise our college maintains proper hygiene and also it's very particular about discipline. Therefore there is a specific college uniform so that dresses doesn't create any divisions. And yes it has proper medical facilities so it can handle emergencies.
Overall it's a good college.
