My college has good infrastructure but it lacks in terms of facilities and equipment a lot. Wifi is not really good but it is there, also there is huge problem of water management and toilets are not hygiene. We students had to ask for dustbins but the request is yet to be fulfilled.
I am studying in computer technology branch at 6th sem. From the very early age i had interest in computers and all technology behind it. But the teaching quality is not even near to good. It feels more like exam centric than getting knowledge of today's world. Off course there are few exceptions in teacher who teaches a lot better but rest of poor teaching overshadow it. The Curriculum is better than any regular computer science branch but it is yet so far from job-ready material.
Ycce is known for huge number placements from very long time. Quality of those placements are good in my opinion. roughly 70% students from IT & CT branches get placed in some companies. Last year the highest package was 7.3 lakh (approx). Average salary for students might be near 20-25k but the placement process is so painful and restrictive. College does not try to support but rather forces to take part in necessary as well as unnecessary programs , events ,etc.
Ycce charges 1.25 lakh for a year. Honestly it's not worth to spend this much ammount for the service you will get in this college. Main reason being the annoying interference of the college staff (not only teacher but management, training and placement dept.) In your college life. It makes more difficult to choose your career.
Best feature of campus being the good library and good variety of food. And worst feature being the location as well as value of students. Students can enjoy a good quality of food and there are several good lawns to sit and relax. Sometimes there are activities like blood donation or competitions which is good. But teacher staff is very ignorant , it mostly does not respond to any request made by students and if students try to complain at higher authorities , then teachers take it immaturely.
Personally, the college has great potential but the current scenario is very poor. It is not worth to spending huge amount to just follow orders and student's opinion means nothing to this college. So I suggest not to think of this college if you don't like arrogance and idiotic people giving you orders with no option to deny.

YCCE college has a minimum attendance requirement usually around 75% and a process for requesting condonation of absences due to medical reasons.Write a letter to the college authorities explaining your medical situation and requesting consideration for your attendance shortage.
If they accept your request then ot is possible that they wont give detention if you have proof of it.but still college will impose consequences depending on the specific college policy and severity of your attendance shortage.
With a 76.6 percentile and an ST category rank of 5793, you may have a chance of getting Computer Science in YCCE Nagpur or Ramdeobaba College, but it largely depends on the specific cutoffs for these institutions and the overall demand for CS seats during the admission process.
1. YCCE Nagpur: The cutoff for CS may vary each year, but typically, it can be competitive. You should check the previous year's cutoff trends to gauge your chances.
2. Ramdeobaba College: Similar to YCCE, this college also has fluctuating cutoffs based on demand and availability.
It's best to keep an eye on the official admission announcements and reach out to the colleges for the most accurate information regarding seat availability and cutoffs. You might also want to consider applying to other colleges as a backup option.
For admission to the Electronics and Telecommunication (ENTC) engineering program under the Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) at Yeshwantrao Chavan College of Engineering (YCCE), the cutoff rank can vary each year based on factors such as:
