Admission to professional programs offered by Atmiya University Rajkot namely Engineering (Diploma, UG including lateral entry and PG), MBA, MCA and Pharmacy (UG including lateral entry and PG) at the University are done as per the guidelines of respective Central Admission Committee (ACPC &; ACPDC) constituted by Govt. of Gujarat. 

Atmiya University Rajkot has constituted an Admission Core Committee to regulate, frame and execute the admission process of candidates to various academic programs at various levels as per the University norms. Under the core committee, there are three subcommittees to carry out the Admission process in a fair and transparent manner as well as to support prospective candidates in making the right career choice through counselling and guidance.

Atmiya University Rajkot Course Admissions 2024 Eligibility

Atmiya University, Rajkot Diploma Admission 2024

• Candidate must have passed the 10th examination.
• Passed with common subjects specifically Mathematics, Science & English in respective streams of Gujarat State or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto with a good academic record.

Atmiya University, Rajkot UG Admission 2024

• Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with at least one out of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.
• They shall also satisfy the conditions regarding the minimum marks, age and physical fitness as may be prescribed by the Academic Council, Board of Management of AU, from time to time, keeping the minimum requirements of PCI as the base requirement.

• Valid Score of any MBA qualifying entrance exams viz., MAT/CAT/CMAT/ATMA/XAT or any such qualifying test approved by AICTE
• Appeared in PGCET Examination for M.Tech.taken by Government of Gujarat For candidates from Gujarat 

Atmiya University Rajkot Ph.D Admission 2024

• Candidates for admission to the Ph.D. programme shall have a Master's degree or a professional  degree declared equivalent to the Master’s degree by the corresponding statutory regulatory body
• Passed with at least 55% marks in aggregate or its equivalent grade &B in the UGC 7-point scale (or an 50% of marks or above for those who got Masters degree prior to 19-9-1991 Research Fellows of the Council for Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) / Indian Council for Agricultural Research (ICAR) / Researchers, Scientists and JRF/SRF/Project Fellows etc., working in research projects funded by external agencies such as DST / CSIR / UGC / GSBTM and similar  national and state level organisations and executed by this University / recognized research centers of the colleges affiliated to this University and Regional and National Institutions / Laboratories dedicated to Science and Technology development are also eligible to register for Ph.D. under Full-time Research.
• A person whose M.Phil. Dissertation has been evaluated and the viva voce is pending may be admitted to the Ph.D. programme of the same Institution;
• Candidates possessing a Degree considered equivalent to M.Phil. Degree of an Indian Institution, from a Foreign Educational Institution accredited by an Assessment and Accreditation Agency which is approved, recognized or authorized by an authority, established or incorporated under a law in its home country or any other statutory authority in that country for the purpose of assessing, accrediting or assuring quality and standards of educational institutions, shall be eligible for admission to Ph.D. programme. 

Atmiya University Rajkot Admission 2024 Application process

Admission to the Atmiya University Rajkot courses (Engineering, MBA, MCA, and Pharmacy) is done through the Central Admission Committee formed by the Government of Gujarat. For other programs and seats under management and vacant quota in professional programs, the following admission process is followed:

• Step 1: The University publishes an information document with details such as available seats, fees, eligibility criteria, admission process schedule, etc. on its website and other appropriate mediums. A help desk and counseling center are made operational to guide and support students.
• Step 2: Admission forms with supporting documents are accepted both online and offline during the prescribed period in the admission schedule. After the result declaration, candidates can fill the application form in two modes: Offline Mode and Online Mode
• Step 3: After the last date for submitting admission forms, received applications are reviewed for eligibility and other details. Based on University norms, a merit list is prepared.
• Step 4: The University declares the first list of admission allotment along with the schedule for admission confirmation.
• Step 5: Candidates can confirm their admission after verifying their original documents and paying the fees.
• Step 6: After the last date of admission confirmation on the basis of the first list, the University declares a second list of admission allotment depending on the number of vacant seats. The same procedure is followed for the second and subsequent rounds.
