Hi, first of all i'm sorry to say but at this rank i.e. 18302 you will not get admission in IIIT, Naya Raipur. To get into IIIT, Naya Raipur with SC category one should have rank in between the range of; I'm mentioning the SC category rank in for different branches the IIIT, Naya Raipur provides, are as follows;

• B.Tech Data Science and Artificial Intelligence              -          3338-4073
• B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering                   -          3914-4290
• B.Tech Electronics & Communication Engineering       -          5468-5969

IIIT NAYA RAIPUR is established in 2015 and is a new institution. Hence we can not comment on which is best Computer Science and Engineering or Data science and Artifical intelligence but after observing its placement statistics of its first pass out batch we can predict that Computer Science and Engineering is best in IIIT NAYA RAIPUR, because 100% cse students get placed while there is no data regarding Data science and Artifical intelligence.

I know all other things also matters but those things only matters at superficial level, at the end only matters is Placement.

At Dr Shyama Prasad Mukherjee International Institute of Information Technology, Naya Raipur the fees of B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering course is lower than that of NIT Silchar. But the cutoff of CSE is higher for NIT Silchar, so, NIT Silchar is clearly a better college to pursue CSE than IIIT Naya Raipur. The NIRF ranking for NIT Silchar better than IIIT Naya Raipur. Placemets are also good at NIT Silchar. In terms of facilities and infrastructure, both atre same.

So, NIT Silchar is the best.

Here , i will suggest you to go through IIIT RAIPUR  for cse  . As IIITNR is new but, it is far better than NIT Silchar. Not only in terms of infrastructure, but the curriculum, the facilities etc . Further it also has good placement opportunities for most of the students . It also has the highest package for CSE is 28.3l and for ECE is 10l. The first International offer was from FireVisor System PTE. Ltd, Singapore with the package being 28.3l p.a.

lets compare the colleges-

Ranking: - Both college, according to me, are same if it comes to ranking of college. If you go on to compare students on both campus, the students out there have almost same rank in Jee mains.

Location: - IIIT Naya Raipur is about 25 km away from Raipur station (and the area is a bit isolated), which is a big location disadvantage.

Fees for IIIT Naya Raipur is around 24850

also, the first batch to pass the college was in year 2019, and after that the pandemic hit us, so,

you can simply choose cse calicut over the other option
