The University is located in Greater Noida and is near the Race Course . It has a lot of Computer labs and has libraries for each department with computer also available in the library for students to study.
The Curriculum is good, the college not only teaches us about computer science but subjects of mechanical and electrical are also there for the students to get ample amount of exposure. We have two exam cycle in one semester: The end sem exams and the end sem exam.
The college has had an average package of 3-4 lakh which has been the average placement of most of the private colleges. All The placement related activities are done under the placement cell of the college.
The College has lots of clubs like Technojam and Cam-Circle which provide lots of exposure and also gives a platform to express their knowledge and learn from the college mates. Thus this college has been value for money for me as i got the right support and exposure that i needed to improve my skills
All the necessary facilities are present here and the college has a mess. Although the food is not that good. There are several libraries specified to different courses. The College has lift and also has a canteen which serves varities of food.
The Curriculum is well scheduled and the college has also drafted a new subject in our first year called disruptive technology in which we the students are taught in a training or workshop mode which has given us a new experience.
The placements have been good lately and the college also works really hard in bringing more and more companies. But still most of the students get placed by mass recruiters. So the average placements are still low
The college has some demerits but still it is much better than most of the private universities that have my course and it does not charge that extensively. The fees for normal B.Tech is 6.4 lakh which a huge amount but the opportunities offered here are also that good
The college has lots of computer labs and several libraries to study. The classes have projectors fiitted in. Lift is also there. Wifi is also available and there is a canteen which serves varities of food.
The Teachers are great and most of them are phds and from good colleges with lots of experience. The curriculum is also nice it involves lots of weekly quizes and we also have flip classes which provides lots of exposure to the students.
The Placement have been good lately with lots of MNCs visiting the college for recruitments. The college works hard to bring these companies and is trying to bring evenore companies But still most of the students are taken by mass recruiters
It cost 6.4 lakh without hostel for normal B.Tech and and 7.2 Lakh with specialization and without hostel. If you don't ger distracted and demotivated, the college provides ample opportunities for its students to get a successful future.
The campus itself is nice and has lots of facilities and has a basket ball court and also nets are there to play cricket. There are large amount of ground where several activities can be done. But there is literally nothing around the college area.
The college has a Basketball court,Badminton court and Cricket nets pool tabtle which is only for hostlers but The college has all the necessary labs except the Machine Learning Lab. Ac is present only in very few classes and that too most of them do not work.
Yes, The curriculum is nice and it involves lots of quiz and Flip Classes. There are also several Specialization courses available like B.Tech in Cse with Specialization in AI and ML or with Specialization in Cloud Computing etc.
The average package for Btech Cse is 4lpa but Company like Amazon do come here. There is a Placement cell which handles all the placement activities here, Several big Mnc's like Wipro, Infosys, Amazon come every year.
For 4 Years my college is charging me 7.2 lakh because I've Specialization in AI and ML.....Otherwise for Normal Btech Cse it is 6.4 lakh
The Campus contains huge amounts of greenary and open areas to sit but the location of the University is such that there is not much around the college to go.
Galgotias University is located here at greater noida, its a private college and has decent infrastructure when compared to other colleges in greater noida. It has 3 main academic blocks and a hostel wing along with a cafateria, a really really big hostel mess hall, 2 main playgrounds, 1 garden and several waiting areas for students while having free lectures. It has a large parking area which is also divided into two parts.
I am studying btech cse with specialization in cncs here, I took this course because it was something very new and not offered in many colleges. But opting specialization course here is complete waste of money. U have to pay 20K extra then regular b.tech cse fees for every academic year, which is not worth paying for. Overall academics is good in the university.
The main reason for joining this university is the placement opportunities it offers, U have infosys, capgemini, accenture, dell, mankind, lenevo, byjus.. and this list goes on and on. Also you have companies looking for both technical as well as non technical jobs.
My course costs me 1,80,000 every year its same for btech with specializations but for normal b.tech its 1,59,000. Comparing to universities like amity, srm, sharda etc like private universities, this one is definitely worth the fees.
What else do you want when you have 28+ clubs, 5-7 events every month, annual cultural fests, freshers party, motivational guest lectures, celebrities promoting their flims and performing in events, workshops, coding events like hackathon and many of such event.
I feel like this is college where you can really spend your 4 years away from family because it has so much to offer, not only academics is focused but also extra curricular.
