College is known for its infrastructure as it is surrounded by greenery all over. The University provides each and every facility that a student needs. The campus is well maintained and the food is hygienic as well.
Currently I am studying btech in internet technology which is introduced in the college few years back only but is growing very much as the syllabus is updated time to time. Since the jobs in IT sector is increasing so the course makes us job ready.
The placement cell of GBU is very responsive in some of the courses but needs improvement in many. Companies come for placement Evey year but big companies like Amazon and Google are yet to come. The average salary offered is RS.2.5 lakhs p.a and highest is around RS.10lakh p.a
My course costs me around Rs. 1.2 lakhs per year.
Campus life is great as single rooms are provided to each and every student. We also have hospitals nearby in case of emergencies.
One of the best infrastructure which you can expect . Food is ok ,which means bit requires little improvement but still better than other colleges I have visited. It has proper libraries , hostel, and best sport center
Study material is good and is enough to provide you deep insight . And teachers are well equipped . And class are held every day . But I would also want I highlight the point that it lacks a little practical input
Placements are just ok . College have to look into placements as still jobs are not as good as the college proposes . Students are not supported in this sphere. I believe it happens because of the fact that it is a government undertaken
Yes it is value for money as there are very less colleges which can provide such economic courses
Campus like is good and students are free to learn and enjoy college life ethically. But still college has to work on its extra curricular activities
It is a lush green campus with up to date facilities and equipments. Every class is updated with top-notch technological equipments. The living spaces are clean and hygienic food is served. All the labs, library and sports centres are clean and up to date with all the advancements.
I’m enrolled in an integrated 5 year BTech+Mtech/MBA course. I’m currently in my pre final year and am pursuing MBA. The curriculum is up to date and grooming classes are held for 4 hours every week to help in job selections, etc.
The quality of placements is mediocre. A lot of work needs to be done to make them better. Students do get placed but the packages aren’t very high. An average of 5 lakh pa is usually offered to the students.
My course costs approx 114000 including hostel, mess and academic fee.
The campus is very beautiful and is up to date with features. Students can engage in every type of activity. Staff and teachers are quite good but the location isn’t very accessible to get.
College infrastructure is very good. It has finest auditoriums and hostel. GBU also has classroom projectors , laboratories, one of the best indoor sports stadium and fine outdoor sports facilities. Although all are usee very well and efficiently but it also needs better maintenance. These spaces are clean but it needs regular monitoring. Food is moderately hygienic but it needs more hygiene.
The academics of college are not much effective. It still lacks better staff and needs much better quality of teaching. Yes curriculum is updated but it also lacks in giving clear knowledge of the subjects to the students.
Placements are Average. Many companies do come to college for recruitment and even companies hiire but most of the companies are startups and not well established. Placements do vary in different courses but on an average 70% of the students are placed. Placement processes are easy and is supportive but average salary is approximately 2.5 lakhs p.a ,which is not very good.
Cost of the course varies between 1,00,000 -2,50,000 but is not much worth it.From last 3 years the college has been increasing its course cost but in that comparison the quality is not much improved. So value for money is not as such worth it.
College campus is very good . The best features are its well defined structure and availability of the resources like library and meditation hall. Students can engage themselves in different activities like Sports, activity building that includes Drama ,Music and Dance room. Yet the teachers and other staff is supportive but it needs more safety to handle emergencies.
It has been a fine experience and memorable college life.
Gautam buddha University is well know for its infrastructure, the facilities and equipments provided are soo much that you will not get bored of using them. Many movies and songs have been shot here. It's a whole different world living here.
Currently I am pursuing Btech in Computer Science and I am in my 2nd year. To get a seat in computer Science department of the university is a very huge achievement. The Syllabus is up to date and new courses are added every year.
The Placement here needs to be improved for many courses. Many companies come here for placements but big companies are yet to join. The placement for MBA and Btech/Mtech are quite good.Companies like Jaro,Akash Institute and many more were part of the placement cell. The highest package offered as of 2018-2019 is 11 lakhs per annum.
Bachelors Course here costs around Rs.1,63000 approx per year excluding scholarships. The fee covers hostel, mess and academic.
Single room hostels are for each and every student as of 2019-2020.
Overall a great University but many things are yet to be added and improved.
It is a very big University having campus area around 570 acres and well developed infrastructure. It has well equipped labs and classrooms are in a very good condition. It had a very big sports ground having 4 stadiums and a very big indoor stadium. It has 19 hostels providing single accommodation rooms and the food provided is average here.
The teachers are very good and supportive in nature unless you don't have a bag image or any grudges against them. I am studying BTech CSE and i have chosen this college as it is a good college in my hometown Greater Noida. The curriculum is updated in one or two year.
The placement is average here with having 4- 5 lakh per annum and the highest was 36 lakh per annum in CS and in ECE it was 27 lakhs per annum. Almost every student is placed in cse and ece branch but the quality degrades in core branches.
The fees for engineering is 52000 per semester and hostel fees is 60000 annually.
My college life is going very good here. Most of the students engage in sports activities after classes and the worst part of it is being a very big University your have to walk more and more unless your don't have your own vehicle.
It is very huge college boasting 570 acres of campus with most unique infrastructure in our country. It has very good classroom and good labs. It's library is very big with every books required. Hostels are very good with single room per student. They are neat and clean and food is average. It has very big sports ground.
Few teachers are very good and few are average but they are highly qualified. They are teaching good and have better approach towards their subject. The curriculum is updated every year. I am currently student of btech and cse branch and i have opted this University because it's very good.
The placement is average here and it is improving every year. The placement cell is working hard for every students to get them placed in good companies. The average package offered around is 5-6 lpa. Highest placement was from CS branch of 36 lakhs. Placement ratio is above 90 percent.
Cost for per semester for engineering is 52000 per semester and 60000 annually while tution fees for SC category is 26000 per annum.
Campus Life is good although there's a problem created by locals everyday and every thing is well and good. The staffs are very supportive and helpful.
Currently everything is going fine in this college and i haven't faced any problem here.
It has outstanding infrastructure as well as very good classrooms and labs and it is very well maintained and hostel is very good with average food and equipped with Wifi. The sport complex is very big and Paradise for sports lover and it has a grand library.
Teachers are very good here and they teach very good. The curriculum is as per the norms of UGC. Teaching methodology is improving day by day and studying here is good. I am students of electronics and the teachers are very good here.
I will say the placement is average here but in my department and cs branch it is much better than other branch. The average package offered is around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Last year almost many of the students were placed through mega placement drive conducted by University.
My fees is around 52000 per semester and hostel fees is 60000 annually including mess fees
The campus Life is full of colours. Students engage in club activities and sports. The staffs are supportive and helpful here.
It is very big college about 570 acres with a neat and clean classroom with AC and it has awesome labs. It has a very good library and a grand sports complex that is a better choice for the one interested in sports. It has a very good hostel with single sharing room equipped with wifi.
Teachers are highly qualified and some of them teach very good yet few are not so good enough. It has updated curriculum and that are enough to prepare you for your job. I am studying b.tech from Computer science and engineering and it is a good college.
The placement of this college is improving every year and almost every student is getting placed in cs and electronics branch. The average package offered is around 5-6 lpa and the placement process is bit tough and college is supportive regarding to it.
The fees is around 52000 per sem and hostel fees is around 60000 per year. Although i feel the fees is less as compared to the facilities.
The campus Life is very good and you will enjoy a lot in your hostel. Everyone is supportive here unless you are good to them.
I was bit scared after reading bad about this college but every coin has two faces. So it's a better option studying here.
Infrastructure is awesome as compare to other colleges.Every students has its own room.It has a very library it also has 3 auditorium which are very huge in space .every feild has its own department .
Teachers are good ,nice in behaviour , strict in attendance , some has less communication skills with students and sometimes they have doubts in their own lecture , very supportive and kind hearted teachers are here in gbu
Not nice because lack of companies come here in gbu for placements . And the record of gbu in placements is not nice because here some students are not up to the mark for good interviews but they have knowledge.
Average
Good
Nice college

Student Preparation for UPSC and GATE:
Many B.Tech students at Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Noida , prepare for competitive exams like UPSC Civil Services (CSE), Engineering Services (ESE), and GATE alongside their studies.
The university does not have dedicated coaching for UPSC CSE or ESE, but students rely on self-study, coaching institutes, and online platforms .
GATE preparation is more common among students from branches like ECE, EE, and ME , and some faculty members guide students for technical exams.
Library and Study Support:
GBU has a well-equipped library where students access study materials for UPSC, GATE, and other government exams.
Some student groups and societies organize discussions and peer-study groups for civil services aspirants.
Placement Scenario at GBU Noida:
Placement opportunities at GBU vary based on the branch and industry demand.
Companies like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Capgemini, HCL, and Cognizant visit the campus for IT and engineering-related roles.
The average salary package ranges from 3 LPA to 6 LPA , depending on the branch and student performance.
Core branches (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical) have relatively lower placement percentages in comparison to CSE and IT , but students opt for government exam preparation.
Higher Studies and Research:
Some students prefer higher education options such as M.Tech through GATE or MBA through CAT/XAT .
A few students also explore research opportunities in IITs and NITs through GATE scores.
Conclusion:
While GBU Noida does not provide dedicated coaching for UPSC or GATE , students prepare for these exams independently.
Placement opportunities are available but highly dependent on skills, internships, and individual efforts.
Students interested in government jobs or public sector roles should actively participate in self-study groups, online coaching, and mock tests .
