It is a government run institute so it's very good to get admission,

In July 2011, MHRD recognized IIITDM Kancheepuram as an “Institute of National Importance”. It grants admission to Bachelor of Technology (BTech), Master of Technology (MTech), Intergrated BTech and MTech, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD). NIRF ranked this institute between 151 to 200 among the engineering colleges in India. Premier companies like Tata Consultancy Services, TVS, Samsung, Google, etc. had visited for placement. The highest package offered was 55 lakhs per annum (LPA).

Hi. There are as such no fee waivers scheme available at iiit kancheepuram but scholarships are available.

There are various scholarships available such as

• Merit-cum-Means Scholarships of Rs.1000/-p.m. are sanctioned to 25% of eligible B. Tech. Students whose parental income is less than Rs.4.5 lakhs. Further they are also exempted from Payment of tuition fees.
• Institute free Studentships (IFS) scholarships are sanctioned to 10% of eligible B.Tech. students whose parental income is less than Rs.4.5 lakhs. They are exempted from payment of tuition fees.

Both the NIT and IIIT's have great ratings since the past years and have most of the facilities in their respective college. Secondly coming to the selection of a branch you need to consider your field of Interest first as both CSE and ECE branch have great scope. Whereas ECE branch has less scope for job opportunities when compared to CSE because the number of students studying the CSE course every year is increasing.

CSE is a course which presently have great scope and in the upcoming years many countries will be needing such professionals.

CSE students would be getting lots of job opportunities in the future as compared to ECE students. Because the world is getting dependent on robots and machinery and near future a lot of CSE engineers would be required

Finally if your not interested in CSE and still want to pursue a degree in ECE then when compared with IIIT Kancheepuram and IIIT Naya Raipur, I would recommend you to go for IIIT Kancheepuram as the college has a great record of placements in the past years for students into famous companies with good salary packages.

There is no need to pay for Tuition fee but you need to pay Hostel fee. If you join.

These are the points that they have mentioned in notification.

1. +SC/ST students are exempted from payment of tuition fee irrespective of their parental income.
2. Hostel is compulsory for all B Tech/DD students. If exemption is granted by the Institute, then day scholars will have to pay the above mentioned Institute fees (Except Hostel Fees).

Well i would recommend CBIT because, IIIT kancheepuram is just rated as AAAA by Careers360 And ranked at 197th by NIRF MHRD Government of India For Engineering. which is far ranked above than CBIT. CBIT is rated as AAAA by Careers360. It is also ranked at 100th by NIRF MHRD Government Of India For Engineering. The ranking given by the government is based on the equipment of labs, infrastructure, no.of doctorate faculty in the college, placements, events and activities. Under these parameters CBIT is ranked at best that IIIT Kancheepuram. CBIT is the no.1 private engineering college of Telangana. The tution fee at CBIT is 2,00,000/- per year. The hostel fee is around 60,000/- per year. It is best for you to choose iiitdm to pursue ECE course. This is best University. Following are the details:

Fee per semester is 60,000

Fee per 8 semesters will be 4,80,000

Admission fee is 500

Registration fee is 300

Other fee for 8 semesters is 40,000

So you total fee amount 5,20,000 to 5,30,000.

Placements are quite good with 30+ recruiting companies.

Highest CTC is 55Lpa.

My opinion is that you go to iiitdm.
