Hii..
It is Different From Company To company.
It is depend of Profile.Because a marketing guy can catch a higher package but They have mostly as A incentive base which Finance guy Get A lower package but Have good in Hand salary.
No one will disclose this Figures.
But in General You can expect that In the wrost scenario You can Get Around 70K to 80K in Hand.
& If you Are in Top 50% batch then The figures should be double than That.
But The advantage of IIM A,B,C passout is you will be directly placed at Top management level.where your growth is Very Potential.
Soo don't Look at Figures..Just give your best shott..
Nest Of luck
Thank You

You can look out for any of the reputed coaching institutes like TIME or Career Launcher. They've got their branch everywhere. But it's not only the coaching institute that will guarantee you IIMs B, L, A, C and K but it's about how much you perform in test series. Study materials and test series you can get from any online platform.

All the IIMs usually follow a two-step selection process. First, short-listing on the basis of CAT score and then WAT and PI rounds for the short-listed students.

  1. Common Admission Test (CAT)

  2. Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI)

Candidates who fulfil the first stage of the admission criteria (CAT) are called for WAT and PI rounds. Different IIMs as per their admission criteria offer admissions to the selected students. Let’s have a look at the admission criteria of different IIMs for the batch 2019-21.

Most of the IIMs give maximum weightage to Personal Interview and CAT score for admissions

Hello jinay,

Most of the IIMs have some scholarship programs where they waive off some fees for economically weak students. If you meet those criteria you would certainly get the scholarship.  There are also many merit based scholarships from state and central government and some private organizations. If lack of money is stopping you to join an IIM.

Hello Nilesh

How much percentile is good enough to secure a seat in one of the Indian Institute of Management campuses is one of those questions which often comes in an MBA aspirant’s mind.

While the popular perception is that 90+ percentile is enough, the reality is that it will help you cross only the first hurdle. Admissions in IIMs are not based only on CAT percentile but also on the candidates overall academic performance and on his/her performance in the interview and WAT/GD rounds.

Some IIMs also give additional weights to Work experience and UG Stream. Cut offs vary according to the case category as well.

Let me give you some idea for a general category engineering male who has a 80+ academic background through out. [This will vary + - depending on the other parameters I mentioned above].

IIM A-B-C: 99.6 + overall with sectionals 96 around.

IIM L-I-K: 98.5+ with sectionals 90+

New IIMs: 96.5+ with sectionals 85+

Baby IIMs: 93+ with sectionals 80+

Dear student iim cutoff greater then your mark percentage you don't have chance to get admission as compared to previous year cutoff but cat score is very important you try to get good mark in cat entrance exam.
All the best..
Thank you..

Definately...

U Can Get It..Even You will get the benifit of Field diversity..From.Last 2-3 years IIMA Introdiced Field Diversity In which approx Only 50% Engineers allowed & Otger Seats Is filled by Commerse & Arts Background..& Your 10th & 12 scores are really Good so Definately It will help You..

You have to score 97+ in CAT To get a Call From IIM A..& After that you have to Crack GD PI..

& I would like to tell you that The Weitage of GD PI & WAT is More then CAT score..Soo do prepare for that..

Thank You

Hi ramya,
The PGP-fabm program in IIM-A has a separate shortlist. The number of people selected for this course is not reveaed by the Institute. Although we know from past trends that they prefer candidates with their academic courses related to farming, and food. That being said, If you have opted for this course while filling the CAT form and got a good percentile but not enough for the main PGP course, then you can be shortlisted for this course. The number of candidates shortlisted is not revealed and hence no concrete number can be given.  The number of seats available are 47. And roughly maximum number of people an IIM gives a call could range from 100-300. Again this is just my rough estimate according to my experience about the ratio of students vs number of seats available. Hope I have answered your question satisfactorily.
