By consideration of your all score which you have made till now, then it will be like you have the descent percentage in your academic career as of now but for getting into the IIM you have to score atleast of 98+ percentile in the CAT entrance exam which might get differ based upon your respective category. So for going into the IIM you have to focus on your CAT percentile and after that the interview.

Dear Mehak, IIMB offers Post Graduate Programmes like:

Executive Post Graduate Programme: For Round 1, the GMAT score should be between September 1st, 2012 to August 30th, 2018. For Round 2, it should be between December 4th, 2013 to December 3rd, 2018.
Post Graduate Programme in Enterprise Management: Your GMAT test date should fall in between January 17th, 2014 to January 16th, 2019.
Post Graduate Programme in Public Policy and Management:
Post Graduate Programme: CAT/WAT scores are considered

So to answer your question GMAT May 2019 score doesnt help you for IIMB admissions.

i am male obc engineer with 98.2 %ile, 93.2 in 10th, 88.4 in 12th, 70.5 in grad and 21 months of work ex . Will I get a call from IIMB?

Hello Kunal,

This year cutoffs are too high .There are numerous number of canidate getting 100 percentile and many are in 99.8 percentile .You are get very good percentile and your track record of various levels is also good.You have good chance of getting call from IIM-B as you have 21 months working experience which is your biggest advantage.

Chances are very high. You have a very good profile and if you have a workex, things might even get better. Expect sure calls from atleast the IIMs other than ABC.

Hi Aspirant,
First of all,the colleges you mentioned consider many other factors apart from only your past academic records.
However,if you honestly want to get into them,you must score more than 99.5 percentile in CAT.

What will be the fee structure for MBA in IIM,BANGALORE?

For the 2018-20 batch, the fee is Rs. 21 lakh. It may change for the next year, which is 2019-21 batch.

Hello Sukanya,
It will be more beneficial if you have 90+ percentage in 10th and 12th. And 80+ percentage in graduation because it has upto 25% weightage in IIM Admission. Apart from this, your work experience also matters.
Try to score 95+ percentile for IIM Calls.
If your academic record are not good but still you score 95+ percentile then still you can get IIM Calls.

Hi,
CAT cutoff for all the top IIMs is 95+ percentile for sure for general category,
90 percentile for NC-OBC category
80 percentile for SC/ST/PWD.
The above cutoff is for the old IIMs like IIMA, IIMB, IIMC, IIML, IIMK and IIMI.

For the new and baby IIMs, it is
90 percentile for general category,
75 percentile for NC-OBC
70 percentile for SC/ST/PWD.

What is meant by cutoff is that you need to score minimum these much percentile in order to hold a chance to get shortlisted for further processes of admission.
However shortlist and final admission depends on a number of other factors like academics, diversity, job profile, etc.

What should be the score in GMAT to eligble to take admmision over IIM -BANGLORE

If you are an Indian resident, then you would have to appear for the Common Admission Test if you are planning to take admission in 2 year post graduate program in IIMs. GMAT Score is only accepted for foreign residents who wish to persue the PGP course. However, GMAT scores are accepted in IIMs for 1 year Executive courses.You need to have 5 years of work experience for EPGP Programs. The GMAT Scores for EPGP range from 690-780.

Campus is so big and modern infrastructure is there . It literally feels like i am living my dream . Everything here is just so perfect and fine and is worth all the hardwork i did in the past few years to get in there.

It was a good experience overall but ya can be missing something like enough parking space and ofcurse the distance from city centre the campus structure and the overall building is quite satisfactory

Definitely worth attending if you get into it.
