Hi Ayushi,
IGNOU courses are definitely recognised by the UGC and other educational bodies like the Medical Council, AICTE. They are considered valid if you apply for any higher studies course at a regular college after doing one from IGNOU. They are also recognised for government jobs, entrance examinations like NET, and even accepted abroad.
You may face some discrimination in the corporate world if majority of your education is done from the open( Eg. Both undergraduate and postgraduate) However, officially it is at par with any regular course.
Hope this helps.
Hello,
Try to reset your password, if that helps.
If not, you can mail to IGNOU (ssc@ignou.ac.in) with detailed information mentioning your enrollment number, programme you've enrolled in with issues you're facing, it's a quick service and very attentive as well.
Hope, this helps.
Thank you!

Even though it is a distance learning university, IGNOU has well-furnished regional and study centers. Library facilities are specially great – they have a huge collection of academic books, reference books, and journals. There is Wi-Fi in a few of the centers, and a hygienic cafeteria for students who are on campus for extended periods.
My study center is muralidhar college which is pretty decent college. the college staff was very rude ever since i been there for the first time they were very rude even changed some rules related to studies which they were not meant to.
It is an open university so we don't have ani specific building as our college. but the study center where we are elected to was nice. The faculty was nice too. clean classrooms, good professors and staff.
