Hey Mahendra,

Yes you can but depends if you can manage both the courses together. Since one is a degree based course and the other is certificate course. So it won't be an issue if you apply for both the courses together.

I hope this helps you, good luck!

Hi Swati,
The minimum eligibility criteria is to be a graduate to apply for TISS NET which you fullfil. So in my opinion you can apply, but I would recommend you either check their official website and go through the eligibility criteria. If nothing is mentioned there, contact the college itself and speak to the concerned person or if possible visit the campus to get the right information because rules keep changing.
Good luck

Hey Anupam,

Both colleges are equally good enough as both of them provide distant learning courses. DU SOL and IGNOU both conduct entrance exam for admission in PG courses. But i would personally suggest you to go for DU SOL as it would be more effective and economical for you and hence DU still be one of the reputed University of India.

For admission in DUL SOL for pg pol following is  the criteria:

PG Admissions are offered under two categories, i.e., Entrance and Merit-based.

For PG Courses, 50% seats of the total are filled through merit and remaining 50% seats are filled based on entrance test, GD or PI (if any).

You can check the further details regarding syllubas and cutoffs from the website of DU SOL itself.

Hello Anupam,
Both the universities are good. As both of them provide distant course so it depends on you from which you want to do the course, but i personally recommend you Du sol as i have done my BA(hons) from there. So its a good option as per my personam experience i am telling you.
Hope this helpss
Good Luck.

College Infrastructure

Even though it is a distance learning university, IGNOU has well-furnished regional and study centers. Library facilities are specially great – they have a huge collection of academic books, reference books, and journals. There is Wi-Fi in a few of the centers, and a hygienic cafeteria for students who are on campus for extended periods.

Not so great to be a part of

College Infrastructure

My study center is muralidhar college which is pretty decent college. the college staff was very rude ever since i been there for the first time they were very rude even changed some rules related to studies which they were not meant to.

Good experience, worth it overall.

It is an open university so we don't have ani specific building as our college. but the study center where we are elected to was nice. The faculty was nice too. clean classrooms, good professors and staff.
