UPES B.Tech Admissions 2026
ApplyRanked #43 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest Package 1.3 CR , 100% Placements
Dear Swarupa ,
Nearly 70% of the students got placements every year. The highest package was 35 LPA and the lowest was nearly 8 LPA in Mechanical. Tata group, NHPC, Mahindra, Science are some of the companies. 40% of students got internships in Emflux motors, Tata motors and the top roles offered in my course is manager, mechanical engineer and some other. But the top most recruiters are from IT and mostly CSE and IT branches are offered much more rather then others .
Hope it will helpful
Thanks
Hello there,
Your question is a bit confusing.
If your question is about whether local rank is considered at JNTUK or not, then the answer is yes.
There is 25% reserved seats for local category students at JNTUK.
So local rank is also considered there.
You can use the college predictor tool for further analysis,

Good luck!
Thank you.
I believe as far as CSE is concerned JNTU Kakinada has better Infrastructure, Faculty, Research Facilties as well as Outlook than Andhra University. Secondly being located near IT Hubs at Hyderabad further provide impetus to training and placement opporunities. JNTU Kakinada has one of the most structured and student friendly curriculum at par with other top technical institutes in India. Companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Flipkart, Infosys, TCS and Accenture are regular recruiters at JNTU K CSE.

ALL THE BEST
Dear Aspirant,
Both AP PGECET and GATE offers M. Tech programmes for post graduation.
The factors that shall motivate a person to appear one or both of these examinations are:-
1. If you want to join a university within your state( which means it will be close to your house)
2. If your preferred mtech programme is provided by the requisite college.
3. If you want a PSU job or post graduation programme. You must know that by applying GATE you have opportunity to be part of PSUs which you won't find with AP PGECET.
As far as food in government colleges are concerned, dude, it is not comforting as own houses or own state cuisines, but edible enough. Moreover, half of the engineering students generally dine outside than in their hostels.
But if you are looking for home-cooked food, then you probably won't get it. However, bro career comes first than food and you know what to do
As far as your marks are concerned, you shall have some competition to grab your preferred mtech programme in preferred institute.
Hey aspirant!
Appreciation for scoring well in AP EAMCET!
From the cut offs of previous few years, it can be understood that you need to rank between 6000-11000 to get admission in Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University for Aeronautical Engineering. The cut offs may vary from year to year.
Still you have a fair chance to get into JNTUK, Kakinada for Aeronautical Engineering. Maybe you have to wait for last few rounds.
To predict colleges, you can use the AP EAMCET predictor:-
