UPES B.Tech Admissions 2026
ApplyRanked #43 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest Package 1.3 CR , 100% Placements
Hi,
All of them are average engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh. They all have good infrastructure but studies and placements are not very impressive. However, with determination and self study, your result would be good.
JNTUK Narasaraopet is a newly established one and hence there are no proven statistics on its performance. So it would be better to avoid.
Among the other two, JNUTUK Pulivendula has better faculty and lesser fees. Placements are moderate, only IT companies visit. So may prefer that over GMRIT.
All the best!
Hello, jntuh has officially announced that the opening date of the coarses to btech studnts is from 7th july and the candidates who secure themselves into the second and third counselling can go into the college with the time period of the last of the month.., you can also find the complete details about the study sessions in the academic calenders that jntuh provide in the open source..,hope you got my answer all the best for your future.
Hi Mouli!
Greetings!
I don't know much about GMRIT but JNTUK is a good college in my opinion.
It is a preferred University by many Andhra Pradesh students as it power packed with work efficient laboratories, clean faculty and many extra curricular activities. It is good for an ideal student who believes his strength and his inner capability. As far as the education is concerned, it is extraordinary. Coming to the placements, many software companies await for the scholars coming out from JNTUK. But regarding MECH, CIVIL, PCE & PE branches, the core jobs can be achieved only through the GATE rank. That is a mandatory as per the GOVERNMENT OF INDIA's regulations to obtain government jobs. Hence, as concluded it is ideal for good EAMCET rank holders after the priority with Andhra University.
Rest as your wish. Please upvote if this was helpful to you.
Thank you and good luck.

Closing Rank (SVU)- 81,320
Closing Rank (JNTUK)- 6,907
Closing Rank (VR Siddhartha)- 82,111
If you want the cutoff of a specific branch, then please mention it in the comments section and I will get back to you.
Hope this helps you.
All the best!!!
Hi Sahithi!
Greetings!
Even though you are in civil still you have a chance of going for IT companies through campus. But for that you must prepare dual subjects. Which means you have to study computer science subject while doing your civil engineering at nit warangal. So you have to work hard to get a IT. If You are interested in CSE then go for JNTU Hyderabad it's a good college. See if you are interested in CSE then Don't look for college just look for your branch.
If you want that nit tag then go for nit warangal. Civil at warangal is great but it's civil so core placement at warangal will be low. So if you are passionate about coding and developing then go for JNTU Hyderabad CSE branch.
But I want to say you 1 more thing i.e if you're getting NIT warangal from JEE Mains AIR of JOSAA Counselling than you must get ECE, EEE like good branch in decent NIT (top 7 NIT of India) than you must move on there also, that would be much better choice for you.

Thank you and good luck.

Hello,
Congratulations for your rank.
You have not mentioned your category so I will consider it as General category. As per the last year cutoff and your rank, there are chances that you can apply in many colleges in AP. I have searched some colleges for you and mentioning them:
There are less chances that you can get Computer science engineering but you can try for other branches also.
All the Best.
It’s better to join VNR (ECE). Actually, main criteria to opt college is on the basis of placements. Lifestyle of students in government college is far different from the private college(take it as point).
Teaching and cirriculum is more effective in VNR than JNTU (sulthapur).
You will have good placements opportunities in VNR than JNTU SULTANPUR
