Hi,

If you have no issues with Category 3 fees of VIT Vellore , then you should take VIT Vellore. VIT Vellore has good placement records, Campus, Rankings etc. You could get a way lot of Oppurtunities in VIT. Although JIIT is also good but VIT is better.

Thanks!!!

Hello Aspirant,

Hope you are doing well. Yes, there is indeed an option of branch upgradation in Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida. You can definitely upgrade your branch from ECE to CSE but for that you've to score a CGPA of around 9. Another important thing is, the college should have seats remaining in the branch in which you're going to take admission i.e. CSE in your case. However, in usual cases, they do have some seats remaining, therefore that should not be a problem.

Hope this helps.

Hello Aspirant,

The campus life here at Jaypee Institute of Information Technology (JIIT), Noida is quite simple. The campus is not so big but the infrastructure is really nice. The hostels are nice and decent. Rooms are not so large but will suffice.

Like many colleges, it to has an 'in-time' however it is flexible, so you get to have fun in the night too.

  • For girls it's 10pm
  • For boys it's 12.

The location of the college is very good and there are lots of places to go and hangout with your friends. Metro is not so far, so the connectivity with Delhi is also nice. Also the metro is being constructed at a very nice pace, just outside the campus.

Dear candidate, hope you are doing well.

Your improvement is really appreciable. Look you have two choices. First one you can take admission into that college and keep preparing for jee mains 2022 because in the first year of btech the subjects are same. And also in the first year you will get enough time for preparing. Another option is that you can take a break and prepare again also you can prepare for your JEE advanced. But according to me the first choice is better because there will be no risk. JIIT is also one of the prestigious colleges providing great faculty and infrastructure. VIT Vellore though has a great campus life and NIRF Ranking, besides good faculty and strong Placements for CSE, you may prefer JIIT Noida incase youre from anywhere around Delhi NCR or North India as the Institute will be in vicinity of your Hometown. Secondly being located near IT and Technology Hubs of Delhi NCR provide immense career scope and placement prospects, besides having a better Teacher-Student Ratio than VIT Vellore. Secondly Fees for JIIT Noida will be perhaps lower than that for VIT Vellore in Category 3, that top adds to an advantage.

Thirdly apart from Good Placements, JIIT Noida has recently been seeing a trend of students preparing for GATE and further moving on to pursue MTech in CSE from Top IITs as well as Higher Technical Institutes like IISc Bangalore. Even if your dream in something like cracking Civil Services or PCS or Other Government Entrance Exams, Delhi NCR is the Best place to be for Undergraduation.
