Sorry to disappoint you but forget about CSE, it might be very difficult or no chances for you to even get admission in Manipal University. You should try scoring better in some other entrance exam instead. Scoring a better rank in some other exam might be a better option for you.

The scholarship criteria of Manipal University for B.Tech is as follows:-

For rank 1-1000 in MET 2019 there is freeship. For students coming in merit rank 101 to 1000 in MET 2019 will get merit cum mean scholarship based on parents income:-

Annual income of parents                       Scholarship on course fee

• Upto Rs.3 lakhs                                    100 % *
• Between Rs.3 lakhs - Rs.5 lakhs             90 %
• Between Rs.5 lakhs - Rs.7.5 lakhs          75 %
• Between Rs.7.5 lakhs - Rs.10 lakhs         50 %
• Between Rs.10 lakhs - Rs.12.5 lakhs       25 %
• Above  Rs. 12.5 lakhs                            10 %

friend of mine is stduying MIT,so i will share some things she told me about her campus.let me tell you some facts too.

MIT:

mit is one of the most prestigious colleges in tamilnadu.you'll find everything as best in MIT,you can browse or you can ask any seniors on MIT whatever it is,you'll find only best things about MIT.

• COLLEGE ADMINISTRATION and FACULTY:

college administration is very good,attentive and they will respond to your problem immediately.faculty are very best too,but you'll definitely get bored of classes(because the campus is awesome,you wont like to be in classes).all faculty will be ready to help you for sure.the seniors who have passed out also ready to help you.

• infrastructure:

the excellent infrastructure,it will provide you the environment where you can learn more.not only engineering but also some of the important things in life.the environment is has some bad faces too,so be careful on people/friends.because this environment definitely let you to enjoy at the same time you may struggle.so be careful on choosing friendship/relationship.

• students organization and sports:

both are very welcomable in MIT.both motto is to enhance the student's ability and confidence.

• innovative projects:

doing projects on new things and innovative ideas exposure is little bit tough inside MIT campus.the mentors may your idea even it was innovative one.so, you may struggle with this

• freedom and campus:

you will feel like heaven on earth for sure,they will give you the full freedom on education,sports and other clubs tooo.

• classrooms and hostel rooms:

both are in good condition.the hostel rooms are in little bit lower standard than class rooms.

• placements:

you don't need to worry about it.if you've talent,then you'll be first selected in this state.since most of the companies will visit this campus for first recruitment.

MANIPAL UNIVERSITY:

manipal institute is excellent university among the private institutions of india.where you can learn more just like those MIT things.you can have great exposure of socio-economic and cultural diversity.

infrastructure will be best than MIT and hostel rooms ,class rooms ,canteens and FOOD all are very much better than MIT.it is world -class.

your innovative ideas are welcomable here.it is perfect place to pursue your career.if you had a chance to have admission in MANIPAL,dont miss it.

The cut off for admission in Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal for the CSE branch was a rank of 1893 in the previous year. In Sikkim Manipal Institute of Technology the cut off for Computer Science Engineering was a rank of- 41708 and for admission in Manipal University, Jaipur,  the cut off for Computer Science Engineering was a rank of 10867.

Hence you'd require a rank around this range for a fair chance of admission in these respective campuses.
