RGUKT Basar Admission 2026: Dates, Fees, Eligibility, Cutoff & Application Form

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies, Basar offers admissions to multiple specialisation courses at two distinct levels of courses, which include 7 UG and 5 PG courses. The RGUKT admissions are offered in the branches of computer science engineering, mechanical engineering, civil engineering, electrical engineering and many others. 

To get RGUKT admissions, the candidates should appear for the appropriate entrance exam, such as GATE or TS PGECET  and secure a valid score. The IIIT Basar admissions are done based on the scores secured in the entrance exam and past academic performance. The shortlisted candidates must attend the counselling session of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies.

• Candidates must make sure that they meet the minimum eligibility requirements for the courses they want to apply for.

• Candidates must visit the RGUKT online application portal on the RGUKT Basar official website.

• Candidates must register themselves on the RGUKT application portal and create their login id.

• Candidates must fill out the online registration form by submitting all the necessary information and documents. 

• Candidates must then submit the application form by paying the registration fee. RGUKT registration fee is non-refundable.

The duration of all the RGUKT BTech Integrated courses is 6 years. The first 2 years are pre-university level where students are familiarised with the basics of the fields as well as subjects like Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry. RGUKT BTech Integrated Admission Process  

• Candidates should meet the eligibility criteria.

• Eligible candidates can apply for admission by visiting the official website. 

• Candidates should attend the counselling session.

• RGUKT Basar admissions will be granted based on the marks obtained in past academics.

• The final selected candidates will be informed regarding the seat allotment. 

• Candidates allotted IIIT Basar admissions need to visit the campus. 

• Selected candidates should submit the required documents.

• At the end, pay the RGUKT Basar admission fees and confirm admission.

The varsity provides three postgraduate courses - M.Tech. Computer Science and Engineering, M.Tech. Electronics and Communication Engineering and M.Tech Computational Mechanics in Mechanical Engineering. The duration of all the PG courses is 2 years.

RGUKT M.Tech Admission Process

• Candidates should appear for GATE /TS PGECET and obtain a valid score. 

• Fill out the application form for the university.

• Appear for a personal interview conducted by the varsity.

• On the basis of performance in the entrance examination (80%) and a personal interview (20%), candidates are selected for RGUKT Basar admission to M.Tech.

• Final shortlisted candidates will be informed regarding the seat allotment.

• The selected candidates need to submit the required documents and pay the RGUKT admission fees to confirm admission.

• The receipt was issued by the TS online services. 

• Hall Ticket of 10th class or its equivalent.

• Study certificates from fourth class to tenth class,/ Residence certificate by those claiming ‘Local Category’. 

• Bachelor’s marksheet (for M.Tech admissions)

• GATE score card and hall ticket (for M.Tech admissions)

• Residence certificate/service certificate of parents by those claiming the unreserved category of seats 

• Proof of caste/community certificate (for reserved categories)

• Physically Handicapped (PH) certificate (if applicable)

• Children of Armed Forces (CAP) certificate (if applicable)

• NCC certificate (if applicable)

• Sports certificates (if applicable)

Note: As a state university, IIIT Basar follows all the government regulations with regard to reservation norms. The fee structure of RGUKT is also highly subsidised by the Telangana state government.
