Hello student. 6022 rank is a bit higher one. And since there is not state quota reservation, it is a bit difficult to get the seat in mechanical engineering.
Mechanical engineering in sastra is a bit demanding branch. So, the cloasing rank will be a bit lesser. So The chances are lesser for you to get through in round 6. I suggest you to apply for other colleges.
Hello Aspirant,
See if you have taken admission in SASTRA university but you are not comfortable with it so you can withdraw your admission from there and your fee will be refunded as per the government's decision which states that if any student is not comfortable with his/her college he/she can withdraw the admission and fee will be refunded but there might be some deduction of admission charges and other processing charges from the fee you have paid. Time cannot be predicted because it depends upon the formalities of college which varies from college to college.

hi,
see before enroll in a course you have to consider some factors to choose a college, also the Institute plays a vital role in career, now comes to the selection of college I would consider NIT suratkhel best among the others Institute, cause nits has excellent Infrastructure, environment, projects guidence which is well maintained rather than others institute in india. even some of the professors who teaches in nits are the authors of many text books which is taken as reference in many Institute. even nits students goes for abroad university for project works. nit suratkhel has excellent placement record for cse as well as others branches of engineering.

Hey there
SASTRA university will be a good choice and if you are getting the college then it won't be a bad option though. With a median package of around 5 lakhs SASTRA is among Top private university. Amrita is also good university and gives equally good opportunity.

I really like this colleges based on placement based on my optionion you can join our college. Little bit strict but that’s Okk. In our college infrastructure is better I’m currently doing my Bsc degree in sastra university
My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean
laboratories for bio tech and other related departments are very good and high tech here. Hostels are non ac full vegetarian, managable. wifi is 24/7 available. the environment is good for studying here.
