Hope my answer helps you. Thank you
Yeah good question . well I am a student from sastra university. And I am a CSE student . As for 2020 You must get rank less than 400 in stream 1. However if your rank is more than 400 and less than 600 you may have chance because, if many students below rank 400 will take other than CSE than you may get that seat. Hope my answer helps you . thank you

Hello Aspirant,
Yes, of course, you can get into IITs after completing Undergraduation in Sastra University. You can go for M.Tech in CSE Branch but for this you have to appear for GATE exam and should score good score to get seat in any of the IITs. Eligibility Criteria for GATE is described below :-
As per the latest eligibility criteria for GATE, candidates who possess certification from any of the professional societies must ensure that those examinations conducted by the societies are approved by MHRD/AICTE/UGC/UPSC as equivalent to B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Planning etc. Also, candidates who registered for certification equivalent to B.E./B.Tech from any of the professional societies will also be eligible for GATE. Note that this is the eligibility criteria for GATE 2021 if you have to appear after this then you have the check the detailed criteria at that time.
Note that these eligibility criteria are just for GATE examination, criteria for admissions into M.Tech courses at different IITs will be decided separately.

As you have already ranked 3900 so i think you have already gone through streams and based on that you are placed a rank. You can try for the civil engineering, mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, electrical and electronics engineering, mechatronics. Because for the rank 3900 CSE and IT department are very hard to get at the time of counselling session but if want you can try through the payment method.
i hope this could help you

Hello,
Sastra University is ranking is very high. It is deemed to be university. Electronics and instrumentation engineering is good at sastra University. This field is pursued by very small amount of students overall. However, there is scope. But the placement in sasta university in this branch is not so very good.
Hope this helps.
I really like this colleges based on placement based on my optionion you can join our college. Little bit strict but that’s Okk. In our college infrastructure is better I’m currently doing my Bsc degree in sastra university
My experience with this college is a mixed one ..The infrastructure of the university is good and is the most remarkable for the computing programs The research facilities here are top notch with fully equipped Labs and great professors (not all but a few ones are very experienced and influential in their field..other buildings are average and there is a wifi facility available 24/7 for laptops..no cycle is available ..The food is good..but everything has its bad days too..the form is quite clean
laboratories for bio tech and other related departments are very good and high tech here. Hostels are non ac full vegetarian, managable. wifi is 24/7 available. the environment is good for studying here.
