Hi,

Sastra is a really good private college and is ranked at No.38 as per the latest NIRF rankings.

It is very well known for its CSE,ECE,BioTech and Mech programmes and offers attractive placements by the time you complete your degree.

There are many student clubs and competitions which you can participate in and win rewards.

All in all,it should be a really good choice.

The only con is that the hostels are unbearable during summers,so if you wish to stay nearby, you could opt for any other local colleges.

Hi Lakshmi!

Yes. It is obvious because as u already know that there are 2 streams to get admission in SASTRA.

STREAM 1(75% of seats)

Criteria - 75% JEE MAINS marks+25%state board/CBSE marks(now CGPA to AP students)

STREAM 2(25%of seats)

Criteria-It is only based of IPE marks or state board.

As your CGPA is 10 which is the top in AP board u will get admission for sure.

I hope this answer helps you.

All the best for your future.

Both the colleges that you have mentioned i.e Ambedkar College and Sastra University have a decent curriculum for law students. Let's dig into details:

TNDALU offers only law courses to aspirants such as – BA LLB (Hons), BCom LLB (Hons), BBA LLB (Hons), BCA LLB (Hons), LLB (Hons) and LLM. Tamil Nadu Dr Ambedkar Law University also offers distance education programmes like Master of Corporate Laws (MCL) as well as PG Diplomas and Certificate courses to candidates.

Placements and Infrastructure:  Infrastructure is far excellent than other government colleges. Classrooms are air-conditioned. Each and every classroom are air-conditioned. Hey Abhinav, You have scored 94.6 % in CBSE boards that are very good marks and you also have scored 89.75 percentile in JEE MAINS. You have scored 89.71 percentile which is very low percentile as the cutoff was 89.75. At this percentile, you will not be able to get admission in Sastra University in Computer Science Branch as there will be a lot of difficulties while taking admission and there are very fewer chances of taking admission there. But don't be sad you can take admission in very good colleges at this percentile. You can check various colleges and choose the best one for your future.

hello aspirant,

in sastra there are two methos of counselling. first method is on the basis of both jee main score and your ipe score.

as for the previous year data it may be difficult to geta good streams according to this jee main score in sastra. 70% of seats are filled by ist method.however remaining 30% of seats will be filled by

only your ipe score. as your scores are good. you have fair chances.
