The last date to apply for MBA, B.Tech and 5-year Integrated M.Tech programmes is June 15, 2024.
The last date for fee payment for the odd semester 2024-2025 session without a fine is July 4, 2024.
Odd semester classes for all the senior year UG and PG students for the session 2024-2025 shall commence on July 12, 2024.
Shanmugha Arts Science Technology Research and Academy, Thanjavur was established in 1984 and was granted deemed university status in the year 2001 under Section 3 of the UGC Act by the Government of India in 1956. The SASTRA University offers a wide variety of diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses.

All the teachers in our college very good and super have 8-10 years of teaching experience. They are experts in their respective subjects. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry ready. Semester exams are moderately tough. There are sessional exams before semester exams.

facilities are good. we have a top-class library and research centers that amaze every fresher. they are great labs and hostels for boys and girls is maintained good. only vegetarian food is served. there are around 14 canteens.

the classrooms are spacious with wide windows and smart boards. the library is the most wonderful in the campus . computer labs are with air conditioned. there is one medical shop and hospital near to campus. canteen is available.

In Sastra University the admission is done on the basis of scores obtained in jee mains and 12th scores.
As per your scores you have fair chances of getting core branches like mechanical, electrical,civil branches. But this is as per the previous year trends . There are certain factors such as number of candidates appearing in the counselling, previous year cutoffs and number of seats available in the college which determines the current year cut offs.
