I can't say anything about others, being an Alumni of LPU. I would recommend you to choose LPU.
LPU is definitely good choice when you compare it with other private universities and colleges. I have done my B.Tech CSE from LPU , One of my friend was enrolled in B.Tech Automobile as well. Few major point I will be sharing about LPU, I hope that helps.

LPU is good for automobile engineering. Good placements in core company as well as software company. Other than participating different events like go kart, project expo, entertainment events like one india, one world etc. Practical based learning and valuable guest lectures also.

LPU provides a lot of opportunities to each and every of the eligible students for good placement. LPU rated as 11th Best in India from Zee News Survey in Placements. They give you a very good amount of training before you go into campus placements. Try not to miss those classes they will help you in getting better placements, after all, all we need is a decent place with good exposure.

I shouldn't even have to explain this one. A) A company has various units like production, services, manufacturing, software etc. So when a company is visiting in the campus, they are demanding students from different branches. So, as per their requirement, the students are getting eligible for placement drives. So, there are multiple companies which are famous for their software or IT products but they are also running other units and branches also. Example is Wipro, Bosch, Tata.
B) B.Tech Automobile students are in high demand by various core mechanical companies as well.

Hi Sarthak,

VIT, SRM and LPU are topmost private educators in India at the moment.

However LPU has an edge in placements scenario and being a value for money proposition as all the three others in the question have fee structure far more than LPU.

The average salaries for all will differ at every different time as the companies are highly dynamic in offering the packages. Your salary will always depend upon what kind of skills you can attain in your studies.

LPU has a solid track record in the placements over last one and a half decade.

This year, over 650 companies visited the campus for placements, out of those most of them are MNCs, about 100 offered 8 LPA upwards, 60 plus offered 10 LPA plus, 20 offered 20 LPA onwards and about 100 are from fortune 500 club.

The average salary package is about 5.5 LPA.

How does LPU pull it off with such a large intake?
