Being a student of LPU, I think I can provide you with an honest opinion. Though I'm not pursuing my M.Sc in Chemistry, I do have may friends who are pursuing the same.

Lovely Professional University is good University for pursuing M.Sc Chemistry

Few points that will help you to make your decision:

• Faculty: Most of faculty members are from IIT,IIIT,NIT, IIM ,IHM or from elite Schools (India/Abroad. They have decade of experience. Faculty is really helping. Even they helps after regular university hours for projects.
• Standard of students: They did not compromise on the quality of the students. They have a rigorous admission process. Admission can be taken if you have good percentage and you have good percentile in entrance + marks in interview.
• Courses offered: They have ample of courses and also provides specializations.
• Batch size: In every section they had 40–60 Students.
• Placements: University provides with opportunities and it's up to the students to grab it. LPU brings in lot more companies (apx. 450+) . It’s up to you how you prepare yourself for the placements and stand out from the herd. LPU provide different classes for placements which helps in grooming.
