Srm university, Amravati, actually is a really good college. It provides good infrastructure and pretty decent opportunities too. Also this college provides great scholarship for student all round the country. All the infrastructures, equipments and facilities are very good. This college provides full ac classrooms, well equipped labs and proper libraries. The food and hygiene is top notch too. In the summary, very good college.
Me as a cse 1 year student. Currently pursuing CS with specialization in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. I am pretty overwhelmed by the professors of this college and their teachings methods. It has the traditional way of teaching but also it doesn't lack in updated curriculum and i think this teaching style makes us job-ready.
The placement opportunities at my college have been quite good, with many reputed companies visiting the campus every year. The training and placement cell worked actively to prepare students through aptitude tests, mock interviews, and technical training sessions. Around 80% of the students were successfully placed in different companies. The highest salary package offered was around 12 LPA, and it was offered to a Computer Science Engineering student. Students from branches like CSE, IT, and ECE received the highest number of opportunities. The average salary package offered was approximately 4–5 LPA. The placement process was smooth and well-organized, and the college provided continuous support throughout the recruitment process. Overall, my experience with placements was positive and satisfying.
My course after 90% scholarship costed 40k per year, which is originally 4L per year. Currently I feel the way of teachings, infrastructure and all the opportunities given by the college, it's pretty good and worth of money.
My college campus is well-maintained and has a friendly and energetic atmosphere. One of the best features of the campus is the variety of events and activities organized for students. Programs like Aloha (freshers party), Dandiya Nights, Christmas and New Year celebrations, and DJ nights held multiple times a year make campus life enjoyable and memorable. Students can also participate in cultural events, technical fests, sports, clubs, and seminars. The teachers in my college are supportive and helpful, and the support staff is cooperative as well. The students are friendly and come from diverse backgrounds, creating a positive environment for learning and interaction. The campus is located in a safe area with proper security and basic emergency facilities available. Overall, the college provides a good balance between academics and extracurricular activities.
Most Faculty are good and efficient but is more of self study, opportunities aren't that great, campus is great with good resources and infra RN placements are only 50% this year, doesn't only depend on the grades and skill but it is all about picking the right skill and right company that is expecting the skill.
I'm studying computer science and teaching is good all the teachers are well qualified but definitely self study keep you standout and confident, curriculum is regular and updated but not to the industry standard, we have to get updated to the market need.
Avg training and only few got prominent placement, again we have to be strategic and upskill and apply to the companies by regularly updating both resume and upskill (DSA *) Ask for seniors for any help regarding companies or placement drives as they are experienced.
Definitely not, any day money is inversly proportional to the outcome in education it is all about efforts, and if we give enough effort you don't need to pay so much.
We paid 315000 per yr (just the tution fee) I don't think it is worth it.
Prepare and plan (atleast rough one) & daily get a reality check that keeps you motivated and stay awake
SRM has every infrastructure that other colleges doesn't have. Laboratories are advanced level and classrooms feel like you are in a 5 star hotel ????????. The nature and natural sunlight through the window doors
There's a scholarship facility for Mtech students which no other universities provides. I suggest SRM for masters degree. It's best in andhra pradesh than vitap and klu universities which people often confuse
They prioritize more for SRM chennai compares to amaravati campus. If you choose SRM chennai you will be better position and better placements side and faculty wise both has the similar structure and all
Yes
You will really feel like a college life that you imagined
yes college have all the necessary infrastructure, sports facilities are very less and limited according to too much crowd over here. Indoor game are very less. its all about nothing. rest everything is quit average.
I have pursued BSC Hons Economics. teacher are quite good but for us it is very less opportunity in comparison to Ashoka and Krea college. curriculum is not up to the mark. I am in 1st year so that I don't know will this course make me job ready or not but after 2nd year I will able to tell.
I have pursued BSC Hons in Economics. this course is not developed much over here. most of the student go for the higher studies. there is no scenario of placement over here. may be next years onwards they will ask to company visit here for the bsc hons economics students.
This University has gave me 100% scholarship. But in comparison to other college like krea, Ashoka. it is very low overall.
campus is good but its feels too much crowd over here. now construction is going on may in upcoming year when it build completely. it will feel good. but now its too much crowd.
NO
The college infrastructure is excellent and gives a feel similar to international universities. The campus is well-planned with modern buildings, spacious classrooms, and advanced labs equipped with the latest technology.
The academics in our college are well-structured and thoughtfully planned. The curriculum is designed to cover both theoretical concepts and practical applications, which helps in building a strong foundation. Faculty members follow a proper schedule, and subjects are aligned with current industry requirements. Regular assignments, assessments, and projects ensure continuous learning and improvement. Overall, the academic environment is disciplined and supports students in gaining relevant knowledge and skills.
The placement opportunities in our college are quite good. The college attracts many reputed companies, including product-based companies that offer higher salary packages. Students are given proper training through aptitude sessions, coding practice, and mock interviews to prepare them for placements. The placement cell is active and supportive, ensuring that students get multiple opportunities to showcase their skills. Overall, the placement environment is competitive and helps students secure good career opportunities.
The college offers good value for money considering the quality of education, infrastructure, and placement opportunities provided. The facilities available on campus, along with experienced faculty and industry-relevant curriculum, justify the fees. Students also benefit from exposure to real-world projects and career support. Overall, the return on investment is satisfactory, especially for those who make full use of the available resources and opportunities.
Campus life is very enjoyable with a chilled and friendly vibe. The college regularly conducts fests, cultural events, and various extracurricular activities that keep students engaged beyond academics. There are many clubs and student communities where everyone can explore their interests, develop new skills, and interact with others. The environment is lively and supportive, making it easy to maintain a good balance between studies and fun.
It is good
I really like my university and there are lot of options for my career and a good atmosphere I really like to engage with staff they are really helpful and they know so much also I like the classrooms and labs
SRM Institute of Science and Technology is considered one of the better private universities in India, especially for engineering, management, science, and technology courses. Academically, the university offers a modern curriculum with industry-oriented subjects such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Machine Learning, and research-based learning. Many students appreciate the experienced faculty, practical lab facilities, and exposure through workshops, seminars, internships, and projects. The university also has collaborations with companies and international institutions, which helps students gain better career opportunities.
One of SRM’s biggest strengths is its placement support and large student network. Companies like Amazon, Microsoft, Infosys, TCS, and Deloitte visit the campus regularly for recruitment. Students from technical branches, especially CSE and AI-related courses, generally receive better placement opportunities. However, academics at SRM can feel competitive because of strict attendance rules, frequent assessments, and semester exams. Some students also mention that teaching quality may vary depending on the faculty member and department.
Although it's so good but it's quite expensive I would say but if u can get scholarship it's very easy and affordable except the bus fee if u're in transport or day scholar and coming to hostel it's a bit expensive but I can understand coz it's a university
Coming to campus life i would say it's not bad I mean it's so good like it makes us feel home like everything is available in campus for you either food or medicines everything
We are having High class infrastructure like the facilities and equipment which are required for a student for bright future but the thing is that one should know how to and where to use them properly. For example if you give a to a camera monkey it throws away but the thing you give to a content creator , they capture beautiful nature view and make useful content . Coming to sports outdoors sports can improve alot mainly cricket no proper pitch and High quality equipment for pratice
Coming to teaching it's mix of both good and bad because some of them teach with real world examples and some of them just go through the slides and complete syllabus. And yeah the management is trying their best to adopt to new technology and catching up the market
I think placements are not up to mark like SRM standards this year . Some of the companies takes online test and never comes back or some them don't give you the proper update. This year we can its like 60 - 40 , because the students who are placed in sales companies also comes under unplaced according me .
Money you spend on good food , cloths and on yourself is never a waste of money but at the end what you achieved is what matters the most , its tells you about is the money you spend here is worth it or not
Ut has wonderful compus to explore and have the best time with friends and loved ones, everything feels fresh and cool . It gives you alot memories and life lessons , it teaches you more about life
It's quite good. It's a big campus anad have many blocks and peaceful place. It's a wonderful place to study and to learn new things have many events such a nice place that's it no comments at all ...
. academics are really wonderful will have a uptadet syallabus no extra and best place to study also peace environment and no comments to tell but you'll feel great at here ... And also a great place to
Placements also a great university you'll get most companies and top companies and also not a small companies they are big companies. With great packages and you'll satisfy with university and campus
It's a great environment and having air conditioned rooms , environment everywhere in campus the whole campus is fully air conditioner and no discomfort at all and a such a big campus with most place to walk.
Campus is very good you'll get new friends and happy life not much stressed life here but very quite happy and chill .
SRM University Ap has a very good campus with modern buildings and facilites. students get good placement chances with many companies visiting . the college supports learning, projects, and new ideas. but it is bit far from the city, so outside facilities are limited.
academics are good with updated syllabus that matches currect industry needs. teachers are well qualified and help students with projects and lab work. the university focuces on research, new technologies, and practical learning. exams are moderetly difficult, o students need to study regularly to score well.
placements are good , especially for cse and tech branches. many big companies like amazon , micro soft visit the campus. avaerage pacakage is around 7-9 LPA , and top students get very high packages.
the fees are bit high compared to some othr colleges. but the campus, labs, and facilities are modren and well-develope. good placements and learning oppouriniies make it worth it for many students.
campus life i lively with many events, fests, and activites. there are good hostels, food options and sports facilities.
nothing to add more about the clg
It is nice and perfect , but the construction should be closed at the night hours , it creates a lot of disturbance for studies . At least for the night from 10 pm to morning 7 am it should be closed , almost all the time it is going on , the construction .
Teaching style of very niche teachers is good , most of the teachers just read from the ppt they present , they mug up the concept before and after coming to class just vomit to students thinking they understand everything.
I am right now in 2nd year ,so I am not much aware about this one , but for the name sake of Summer Internship they shared 5 to 6 forms of Internship opportunities in the last 10 days , but I did not get any reply for those
It is okish . Like some things are on iously good in terms of value for money , like you can find some very good quality teachers also but they are very very less in number. Equipments for research are good .
Campus Life is good for me , as far as you think you roam around the campus and as early as you realise it is better to live alone but help every one who ask you . But I would tell explore each and every corner of the campus , it will help you a lot .
I would not like to add anything
Dear aspirant,
SRM AP is not the best college in our country for engineering. There are top IITs and NITs that offer better opportunities and placements than this college. But, SRM AP does have a decent curriculum. Interested students have an option on building on their research ideas and there
