College has state of the art facility with well equipped labs. Also the use of solar panels in every building made them reducing carbon footprint. The library was of 3 floors full air conditioned with almost every book on all subjects/topics. Sports ground was large enough to accommodate almost every sport in that ground at a time probably it has the largest ground in uttrakhand colleges. The place is hygienic and also UPES has the always been among top 10 campuses in India in beauty.

I've graduated in Electrical Engineering, it is one of the premier courses of the institution as the name says University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, so Electrical department comes under Energy domain, it has faculties from various universities including IITs, NITs, foreign universities. Also it has a student exchange programme where students can get opportunity to study in France. The course curriculum is industry orientated and that what makes UPES students stand out of the crowd.

In terms of placement it is one of the best as compared to other institutions as the students get opportunities to work with one the finest organization's in the energy domain. Placement percentage is close to 90% as Electrical is the most opted course in UPES. The placement process does not seem to be rigorous as the curriculum is so updated that interviewing questions are already being taught from the starting of the course. Also UPES has 5 year placement assistance after passing out.

Course fees per year was around 3.6 lakh for one year. But at the end of the course one might feel that it is slightly on the higher side but as far as name and reputation of this college is very much especially in Uttrakhand state.

College campus is one of the best that one can imagine of taking admission in. Not only academics but also the fest organized by UPES are well known to everyone. It has its own technical fest and one annual fest there both are separately organized. With the exposure of interaction with foreign universities students one can me college worh for money. Probably one can experience one of the best crowds. Faculties are also supportive in every aspect.

Highly recommended for taking addmission in Electrical Engineering programme as this course would give any student a push to a great start in life. Gives the best opportunity while opting for internship as well as for job.

Yes the college had all the necessary items and equipments, for computer science engineering it had all the required softwares cloud setup, we were given solaris exposure and putty experience from our first labs itsef

I studied B.Tech in computer science engineering with specialisation in open source and open standards. I got all the exposure study material, industry exposure. We had webinars from IBM teams which were amazing.

The campus placement team was so good that I pursued in B.Tech. In computer science engineering with open source and open standards I got my placement in the required domain I am more than happy with the placement.

College infrastructure is very good. Campus is very big well maintained and remains clean all the time. Classes are fully furnished with smart boards and are properly ventilated. Laboratories are full of equipment and supplies.

Quality of teaching is very good and teachers are very helpful and helps students at the time of exams by providing PDFs powerpoint presentation and notes. They are always ready to help students. College is very supportive in all aspects.

Placement is very good and most of the students get placed in reputed organization and companies with handsome salary. It's very rare that someone didn't get placed. Mba has a very nice placement with minimum salary of 10 lpa.

College has top notch labs, classrooms, studios, equipment, cafeteria but parking is highly inadequate. Services like internet, cloud blackboard to access study material, give test was good enough. Overall campus was pretty clean and hygienic.

Curriculum was of good quality and up to date with the developments in the field. Department was a bit short of permanent facilities. Majority of subjects were covered by guest lecturers but they were domain experts and really helped with all round development of a student as a professional.

Placements of 'some' branches was pretty good for example: Computer Science, MBA. As per my knowledge highest package was around 15LPA, average being 3-4LPA. However no placement facility was available for our branch.

The average course fee per year was around 3LPA. (4.5LPA if you include the university hostel). Note that the fee for my course was on a lower side. Overall, I feel it was not worth the money.

UPES Campus is GRIHA affiliated which implies it has a eco-sensitive design. College location is located on a hill top which is pretty good, weather is also nice, it has great spaces designed to boast peer interaction and boast creativity.

Yes, our college has all the necessary infrastructure, laboratories for experiments with all the equipment. It has a big library where we can study any book we want, it is very clean we actually enjoy the environment of library. The classrooms have smartboard and the college has a big multi activity center where we can do any kind extra curricular activity and the last but not the least food court provides us very delicious and hygienic food.

I am pursuing B.tech in the field of automotive design engineering. The quality of teaching is very good and the best thing the laboratories in this college. Yes they are updated with everything which we need either for our jobs or if we go for research and development, this college provides us everything.

Placements are good in every branch. In our branch 90-95%( I don't know the actual data) students got placed last year. In mechanical i heard of one student got placed for13lpa last year and if i talk about the average salary it is 4-5lpa. And the college is very supportive in everything from academics to placements.

I must say the college campus is wonderful. Here, seniors and teachers are very supportive. location of this college is beautiful and it is totally safe. The security system of this college is the best. Yes, it can handle emergencies.

I'm studying b.pharm , i wanna do research in pharmaceutical and quality is very good of studying professor are highly understandable and compassionate , yes i think curriculum is updated and includes all the recent developments in the field which makes one highly job ready

Superb quality of placements , 96% were placed , engineering course gets highest salary packages , it was more than crore , criteria is Highly tested but college is always supportive to students it helps them in every possible way

YES, UPES have all the necessary infrastructure , facilities and equipment which are of A-grade. The living spaces are clean & tidy, also the food provided my mess are hygienic and healthy. You'd find all modern facilities in the campus.

I m studying B.Tech. Fire and Safety from UPES beacuse it is the most demanding field in every industry and also there is a good scope in abroad. The quality of teaching in UPES is excellent as UPES has all good faculty and mostly are from top institutions. Curriculums are refreshed every year.

PLACEMENTS ARE EXCELLENT. PLACEMENT % IS 94. IN CSE & DESIGN THERE IS 100 %PLACEMENT. ONE THING MORE - PLACEMENTS AND OPPORTUNITIES ARE GOOD FOR GOOD STUDENTS. AVG. PACAKAGE IS SOMETHING AROUND 3.5 LAKH AND HIGHEST IN CSE BRANCH.

ITS ALMOST 3 LAKH PER YEAR BUT IT VARIES. FEES ARE LITTLE HIGH.

CAMPUS LIFE IS GOOD AS IT HAS ALL NECESSARY FACILITIES AND CAMPUS HAS A BEAUTIFUL SCENIC VIEW.

UPES have great infrastructure. Students studying there won't face any problem regarding any sort of facility. library is also digitally accessible to it's students out there. Regarding labs you would never find any issues with any of the equipment. Upes is always ahead with its technical things.

Quality of and curriculum is really good and faculty out there is really supportive. You won't find any problem out there in pharma department. They are going to provide you with many opportunity outside the campus to step out of the comfort zone and do something out of the box.

As my batch for the B. Pharma would be the first passing batch of the programme so we do not have that idea about exact placement rate. But upes is famous for its great and also our department is really active in collaborating with certain pharmaceutical firms so there is great expectation to get good placement.

Upes is too costly university in comparison to others.

Campus life would be fun if you stick with good bunch of friends out there. If you would be alone there ,you would definitely start being sick of its environment after a while as this university is situated at the outskirts of dehradun not in between the city.

Infrastructure of this college is excellent.They have modern classrooms as per as the student requirements. The seating arrangement in class is very nice it feels good to have such classrooms. Whole campus is wifi oriented.

I am persuing b pharmacy in this university. The quality of teaching is excellent. Teachers understand the problems of student and coordinate with them according. Curriculum is well updated. They try to make us learn every single thing which will be required in industries.

Quality of placement is quiet good in this university. Last year 95% students got placed. Highest salary package was from btech in computer sciences around 36 lac per year. College support the students in placement process.

B pharmacy fees is around 165000 rs per year. Earlier it seems expensive to some people but believe me its worth taking admission in UPES. The classes schedule and way of teaching is extreme good. In labs they make us learn thing according to the industry demands in future.

College campus is extremely beautiful. The campus is situated in between the hills the greenery and the view make you feel more fresh when you are tired. There are different chapters in which you can engage and participate in their events.

the college is equipped with all the necessary facilities and equipments. campus is equipped with wifi with upto the connectivity and classroom and laboratories are well equipped. college does provide living space and it is fairly clean and well maintained

being a pharmacy student, i have experienced the quality of teaching is excellent. the teachers are supportive and always ready to welcome new ideas. curriculum is based on feedback provided by students, so it gets updated frequently and the course is oriented towards job.

the quality of placement is excellent. the average package of the university of 5lacs which is fairly enough. about 90% gets placed per year and this university is known for its good placement. the placement process is pretty easy and pleasant. the college is supportive and do its best to get the student placed

b.tech course costs approx 4 lac per year , which in my opinion, is pretty expensive. the college do focus on studies as well as extracurricular activity which makes it worthy of the money, you spent upon.
